It doesn't support my 6800 XT? Ok, well I hope we get the next update for everyone... kind of strange.

I believe that already next week we will have the public version 22.12.2.

Well this is strange... A driver supporting only rdna3 GPUs. I feel bad for the people working at RTG. AMD management needs to hire more software engineers.

Nice joke AMD 😀

actually this is kind of amazing when you think that all the testing and comparisions of the RDNA 3 cards have been made with Day 1 drivers. and i'm good on my 6900xt w/ no issues (but will wait for 6000 drivers next week)

Not strange at all...;)The 7900 GPUs just shipped today. They wanted a release driver for the RDNA3 GPUs, I guess. This is an entirely different GPU architecture. I think that soon they'll integrate the RDNA3 drivers in with the RDNA2/1 driver package. Big deal. I was only surprised that the AMD store sold out so quickly today.

Still waiting for a driver to fix the graphical artifacts with Darktide. But today is not that day.

Also on newegg. Probably scalpers again trying to sell for profit. Already seen a few 7900XTX sold for insane markup on ebay....so yeah. No comment.

I have a dream: reselling and scalping as a federal and international crime.

AMD badly needs an issue tracker where users can report problems, perhaps bug report should point to an issue tracker instead, that also tracks known issues under radar of AMD, as well as known issues known among users.

AMD and NVidia are now the official scalpers.

There two drivers of 22.12.1: Adrenalin 22.12.1 for RX7000 Series Graphics with Radeon Developer Tool Suite Support | AMD Graphics Driver Version 22.40.00.60 for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11 (Windows Driver Store Version 31.0.14000.60001) 12/12/22 build vs Graphics Driver Version 22.40.00.59 for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11 (Windows Driver Store Version 31.0.14000.59010). 12/8/22 build Update: seems new 22.12.1 driver version 31.0.14000.60001 runs better then 31.0.1400.59 so far.

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere. Overclocking drops the vram clocks by 1000 Mhz lol. Is this a driver bug ? Why does it drop the vram clocks ? An undervolt would probably solve this but anyway this is not normal behavior. [youtube=-KvkVumbgvw]
