No problems with the 30FPS video file:
But with the 60 FPS video file, the playback is with 20FPS and I have many dropped frames.
I'm not sure if the problem is because of our monitors with a limited resolution. Maybe the resizing doesn't let the hardware acceleration work properly and smoothly.
Well, AMD doesn't apply forced AF from drivers in DX11. Or DX10. Or DX12. Or Vulkan.
The driver AF works unfortunately ONLY in OpenGL, DX9 and earlier.
Then why do I notice such a massive difference with it forced on globally in any dX11/12 title without any image sharpening on?

I did ask him. And to his knowledge, AF works in any API. But it doesn't. I told him I was going to do some tests and get back to him. I want to do 3 games per API (including ALL OpenGL versions, well, 1.x and the rest). Currently, the situation is grim. I'm gonna do a Reddit post and tag him when I'm done. Eventually.
For all the great software features AMD has, the fact AF and Vsync forced On mostly does NOT work is just a poor look on AMD.
Game that have 2 or more APIs are easiest to test. And the lack of AF or Vsync just jumps at you from one API to another.
Doom 2016 and OpenGL vs Vulkan for example. Call of Juarez DX9 vs DX10. Crysis 1, DX9 vs DX10. (with the mod that allows AF in the engine). Far Cry 2 or 3 (DX9 vs DX10 or 11).
You may try Unreal 4 based games like Darksiders 3, Stray or Days Gone (they're DX11 games that can run in DX12 with the -dx12 launch command). AF never gets applied.
Forced AF should work with OGL - D3D11 (it certainly did so with D3D11 before the recent big driver changes with RDNA2). Also try not just globally, but per profile as well, as the driver UI at least once was notoriously bugged in that regard.
I am testing Globally and per Profile. Testing both these ways + AF + all APIs + Vsync + 3 games per API is surprisingly time consuming. Some games also have more visible tearing (middle of the screen) than other (lower bottom or lower top).
No DX11 boost for RDNA1 still. Of course not...
Tried the hack, and it made a HUGE(49fps to 79fps, looking at starting town from dock) difference for AC:O. Looking at the sea caused bad stuttering, so a no go...
Using the CLI installer for NimeZ has a section called "How to switch DXNAVI on/off". Selecting that opens a web page with pictures of what changes in Regedit. Very cleanly done.
You may have better luck than me, so I do suggest you try it - simple, with potential for a big boost. Have to change 4 values in the registry, in one place -->reboot -->enjoy(maybe) 😎
Installed through the driver auto-update and everything went fine. Benchmark is smooth and no change in score. Will game it up soon and report back but so far this one looks safe.
Actually, this program (DX10) is affected by forced AF via driver but Aliens vs Predator (DX11) is not
For me, it's still not clear which APIs should be affected by forced AF via driver.

It is very unlikely that D3D11 doesn't work when D3D10 does (if not impossible).
It can also be that something is bugged with the game profile, driver forced AF is blacklisted for the game's executable (no idea if the driver does such things) or that the game simply does not respond well to forced AF (e.g. terrain in Assassin's Creed Origins/Odyssey will remain blurry).
Last time I tested it with RDNA2, it only didn't work with D3D12 and Vulkan.
Crashes DX11 games with Eyefinity, I need a stable driver. Haven't been able to run Iracing with the last 3 drivers.
I recently bought a w6600 last week, the last 3 drivers has the new opengl stuff, but they don't work good with emulators in general. So i have been using Adrenalin 21.10.2 , everything works perfect, games, video players, emulators, etc.

AF Forced at 16x
Obviously, I've restarted the program between tests.
