Intel actually has a better way of getting their chipset drivers..... Between Windows Update and "Intel Driver and Support Assistant" (which will never recommend chipset driver updates in my experience...). You can also check your motherboard manufacturer's website for chipset driver updates (which is what Intel actually recommends anyway).
I fail to see how it's better. I mean i go the AMD web site and i answer a few questions (what i want to download, the chipset of my MB, my OS) and then download the last chipset driver directly from AMD.

Well, the only drivers from Intel that are ever really updated, are wifi and bluetooth. But Intel's "driver support assistant" will also list SSD firmware updates in the event that you have an Intel SSD. There's no need to visit their website to check for updates. The app will automatically check for updated drivers and firmware regularly and, in the rare event that chipset drivers are actually updated, they come directly from Windows Update. But, Intel only really releases new chipset drivers when they release a new chipset that requires a driver update. Intel themselves only distribute an INF package that contains the MEI driver, unless you're using a mobile chipset, but in that event they strongly suggest getting updates from the laptop maker. That whole "I don't have to download a chipset driver update because there is no chipset driver to update" thing is a lot better than AMD's way of updating chipset drivers.
