1975 mhz or real 1930 ish on the core 1850 on the memory 1125mv max and 30 percent extra power thats only for benches though, i use 1875 core and 1800 mem for games that need the extra mhz forgot to say that this card only has 1 8pin power so it could go much faster with 2 and probably would need water cooling lol, draws around 200w total board power so 1 is enough for it to run nicely still

Just for info, performance optimizations for Quake II RTX added in 21.1.1 are not present in this driver, will be re-added in next driver again hopefully.

Hi I have some crashes on The Medium with Adrenalin 21.1.1 and 21.2.1 and FidelityFX scal corruption with 75-50 % only 100 is fine. Random reboots plus black screen with this two drivers (WHEA ID 18) I try different Gigabyte bios (F33a - F21 and F32) and same issues Back to 20.12.1 WHQL

Espionage724:

Heh, Oculus Link can be outright broken for 4-5 driver releases with one of the hottest-selling VR headsets during the holidays, but an unofficial overclocking tool causing some minor flickering can get fixed within a week. Priorities at AMD are interesting 😛
Actually the flickering has been there for months if not a year now

I hope they fixed the issue with RadeonSoftware.exe crashing!!

Can confirm that Metro Exodus can be run with RT enable without crashing. I play it at 3840x1080 (exactly half of 4K) with RT set to 'Ultra' and though there was a massive framerate hit, the game was quite playable at 50fps to >100fps as the game is a slower paced FPS which doesn't require ultra high framerate. Though the added lighting effects is nice, I could easily do without it for better framerate, I'm replaying it now with RT simply because I can with the new driver.

That's something AMD should have written in release notes.

If you happen to have HWiNFO opened, take a look at this thread: https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/threads/is-hwinfo-causing-the-dreaded-whea-logger-event-id-xx-cache-hierarchy-errors-and-sudden-reboots-on-amd-ryzen-systems.7041/

Their driver branches are so messed up. I don't get why they seem to have so many active at once. Their branches live too long.

Great drivers for 6900xt , stable. Drivers are heading in the right direction but i just wish amd would work a little more on the insane power savings downclocking issue , it is just too aggressive trying to save a little power. We need more performance not less , i have been having issues with severe downclocking while running some benchmarks and there is now way to lock the clocks i want and need 🙁 , @SpajdrEX can you forward this information to amd driver team please ? I would suggest that they work on the way we can control and lock the clocks on a near future driver to make this new cards 6xxx cards really shine in 3dmark benchmarks . Let us control the clocks that we want not what the amd drivers want please 🙂. Overall not bad drivers but lacking a lot in the performance department on 3dmark benchmarks. My 2 cents. Kind Regards: Chispy

Have you tried increasing power limit to check if that downclocking stops being so severe?

20.12 works fine no error for a week already since I installed it. so it is the driver. it happened with 21.11.1 Does it happen to anyone? if not then it might be fixed because I sent them 6 reports already and then they released the new driver. When browsing in chrome, chrome randomly freezes one time when you try to browse to some site like youtube, or after you watched youtube trying to go to another site it does that. then if the RadeonSoftware control panel is opened it would freeze with the cursor with the circle and it would happen with this error on the event viewer. you can't open the control panel until you sign off or restart windows. it is so annoying......... What card? Any OC? Do you have any separate Qt5 component installed (Qt5 SDK, Qt5 runtime etc.)? Uninstall + DDU + reinstall didn't helped?

Just an info for users running HWinfo and reported crashes with WHEA errors
Changes: Enhanced sensor monitoring on MSI H510 series mainboards. Fixed monitoring of +12V on some ASUS Z590 series mainboards. Improved support of LPDDR3/LPDDR4/LPDDR4X memories. Fixed a possible WHEA error/system crash during long-term monitoring of AMD RX 6000 series GPUs. Enhanced sensor monitoring on ASRock Z590 Taichi and Z590 PG Velocita.
HWiNFO v6.43-4365 Beta released @Cidious maybe?
