This is good news but being vulkan only would be even better, but my true dream would be being available on launch on windows, linux and mac os x.

ATI/AMD has announced a new bundle for its latest graphics cards; AMD RX Vega, RX 580 and RX 570. These new bundles come with free copies for three upcoming games and these are Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Star Control: Origins and Strange Brigade. Three. Free. Games. That’s right, when you buy a Radeon RX Vega, RX 580 or RX 570 you’ll get Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Strange Brigade, and Star Control: Origins absolutely FREE! https://t.co/KGOsklWMxx pic.twitter.com/pgN85PS2c8 — Radeon RX (@Radeon) August 7, 2018 :D
Will you please not post this in driver thread ? lets just keep it to feedback of the driver. thanks!

Graphics and memory clock speeds may remain elevated or locked while gaming if video content is also playing on the system. 0_o

I decided to give both AMD Settings and ReLive a quick go and my suspicions were right, nothing has changed... 1) it still goes blank when trying to open the overlay in my games 2) settings window may freeze post recording or streaming and when I enable "always on top". All of this can of course be temporarily fixed, by going into the task manager, terminating the "radeonsettings.exe" (executable) and right clicking on my desktop to relaunch AMD Settings. I can't believe we're still having the same kind of bugs since the first 17.12 "Adrenalin" driver was released back in December of last year. 3) forgot to mention that the overlay takes forever to open after having been recording and streaming.

Anybody else notice that these drivers (for the first time that I can remember) force-installs the "Pci Bus" (amdkmpfd.sys) PCI Express filter driver? Not sure if this applies to Intel motherboards/cpus, just noticed that it does that with my 1950X/X399/Vega 64. Can verify that the 18.7.1 and previous do NOT do this. And the best part is, I can't seem to force it back to using the "PCI Express Root Port" (just the pci.sys portion of the driver) while using this driver---it just keeps reinstalling the filter driver. Hopefully, AMD wants it this way.....

Good driver so Far. BF1/4 Forza H3 & MS7 HoMM VII Good performance, also it is the first driver that i can Play BF1 in DX12 😀 Clean Install (I need to remove old drivers ~9GB SSD saved now) Also it packs new PCI bus driver ver. 18.40.0

Everything is fine. Radeon Overlay works as usual (im not using RTSS at all). Im using Radeon Chill for the first time in LoL and GTA V. It's really clever. It helps to get better temperature in actual warm days.

On a 890GX + SB850 under W10 1803 it doesn't install that driver over the "PCI Bus" (must be done manually). But on another PC I don't have access right now, with a 790FX+SB750, a driver package a couple months ago would install it, while it wouldn't on this same 890GX.

I believe this driver is only for AMD motherboards. As Intel motherboards use PCIe Express Root Complex. Which is different on AMD MB. So if you install the driver and don't see it I would not manually install it.

I don't have anything AMD in my PC other than the gpu and I got a windows popup saying that I had to restart for the new PCIe driver to work.

http://i64.tinypic.com/b63n1g.png This is an X399/Threadripper mobo -- it uses the same pci.sys/PCI Express Root Complex (labeled) entry as Intel systems. When I install 18.8.1, it replaces these two specific entries with "Pci Bus" --- which is how you know on a quick glance that it has installed the AMD PCI-Express bus filter driver, which includes both the aforementioned pci.sys driver and the amdkmpfd.sys driver. And I cannot revert to the in-box pci.sys only (PCI Express Root Complex) setup, no matter what I do, other than downgrading to 18.7.1. This is the first time I can recall on any of my setups where the driver both forced install of the amd filter driver AND wouldn't let you change back to the pci.sys only setup. Heck, even if you downgrade to the 18.7.1. package, then later just try and update the driver itself manually, it will still install the "Pci Bus" driver. Odd behavior. I've downgraded to 18.7.1 for the moment as you can see above, because I wasn't having any problems with it, and I just want to make sure this doesn't get changed (as a mistake fix) in future driver builds. And if it is force installed on Intel chipset motherboards, as somebody mentioned above, that's a bit odd as well, IMHO.

Can someone who's installed 18.8.1 post a pic of the PCI Express Root Complex Properties, Driver Tab. And are you noticing performance improvements, same performance?

I installed this driver on my rx580 power color red devil golden sample x2 and my pc blue screened ?
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/254/254304.jpg
its all working for me, didnt get any blue screen either only thing strange is that i cant uninstall the older Vulkan Runtimes anymore its not listed in programs and has no uninstaller (well i cant find it) Installed .82 anyway, probably works fine then again drivers own API versions/dlls are primary, runtime probably installs what everyone already shares

I have problems waking windows 10 up from sleep mode with this driver :-/
