Nice. 🙂 EDIT: Huh the AMD page changed from the usual format.
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/209/209146.jpg
And a bit later, wrapping up some other stuff and such before installing and rebooting. 🙂 So INF file comparisons here:
First of all coinst_18.20.dll <- This replaces the earlier coinst_18.10.dll found in 18.6.1 and a few drivers.
(Usually the first version number changes per year and then 1, 2 and so on after a couple of months, not sure if it's quarterly or not. Need to keep an eye on that although it's just a co-installer .DLL file.)

ativvaxy_vg20.dat
ativvaxy_vg20_nd.dat <- These two are new, probably Vega 20 related I'm guessing.

Driver version is from 11th July compared to 7th June and 24.20.11021.1000 compared to 24.20.12019.1010 for version number.

There's a couple of iGPU models in the INF too again.
Kaveri, Carrizo, RavenAM4, Stoney, Kabini from what I'm seeing and various GPU models for these.

These entries.
AMD1309.1 = "AMD Radeon(TM) R7 Graphics"

And in addition to these Vega models.

AMD6863.1 = "Radeon Vega Frontier Edition"
AMD687F.1 = "AMD Radeon RX Vega 64"
AMD687F.2 = "AMD Radeon RX Vega 64"
AMD687F.3 = "Radeon RX Vega"

ExcludeID=PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6867&SUBSYS_017B106B

Having these added for R7500 (Vega, 7000 being Fiji or Fury.)
ExcludeID=PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6869&SUBSYS_0196106B

ExcludeID=PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_66A7&SUBSYS_0205106B
ExcludeID=PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_66A7&SUBSYS_0206106B

With these two.
AMD687F.6 = "Radeon RX Vega"
AMD687F.7 = "Radeon RX Vega"

Corresponding to these.
"%AMD687F.6%" = ati2mtag_R7500DS, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_687F&REV_C3
"%AMD687F.7%" = ati2mtag_R7500DS, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_687F&REV_C7

Well I guess that's mostly just a lot of not much at all in text for now but they're changing stuff up a bit.

There's a license.rtf file in the AMD folder for Catalyst Next too as well and a Add_Rem.txt file with this in it.

In order to Turn off Add/Remove visibilty set these values in the Property table. ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT 1 ARPNOMODIFY 1 ARPNOREMOVE 1 ARPNOREPAIR 1
And on to the profile file after all that ha ha. 🙂 Which as usual I'm just doing a file comparison first the INF against 18.6.1 and then the profile file itself. And atiapfxx.blb comparisons here:
Crossfire profile additions.

The Talos Principle

Crossfire profile updates.

Dragon Age 2

DXX profile additions.
From Other Suns
Minecraft (UWP version?)

DXX profile updates.

Total War Attila
vrProfile
VRFirma
Sea of Thieves
Fortnite
Conan Exiles
Ancestors Legacy
SearchUI
ShellExperienceHost
HellbladeVR

EDIT: And the display driver just reset on the desktop so stability issues? Hmm. EDIT: No not a display driver crash, it just blinked, that VSR problem perhaps. Time to toggle that off perhaps if it's a problem in this one. Hmm wonder if it loses that it's enabled and it goes off and then on, I'll leave it off for now and see how that works. EDIT: atikmdag_dce.log?
[+00:000:000] [Conn_PHY_SIZE] [DP-1] [X Dim:600mm, Y Dim:340mm] ^ [+00:000:000] [Conn_native_mode] [DP-1] {2560x1440@60Hz} ^ [+00:000:000] [Conn_HDCP_VER] [DP-1] 1.4 ^ [+00:127:017] [Conn_Num_Display] 1 ^ [+00:606:988] [Conn_Mode] [DP-1] {2560x1440, 2560x1440@60:1, 2720x1481@241500Khz} ^ [+00:001:000] {DispCLK:0kHz, Min SCLK:0kHz, Min MCLK:0kHz} ^ [+00:015:995] [Conn_Signal_Type] [DP-1] - DP ^ [+00:018:994] {DispCLK:257142kHz, Min SCLK:600000kHz, Min MCLK:167000kHz} ^ [+00:023:993] [Conn_LKTN] [DP-1] HBR2x4 pass VS=3, PE=0 ^ [+00:016:995] [Conn_LKTN] [DP-1] HBRx4 pass VS=0, PE=0 ^ [+06:058:221] [Conn_Mode] [DP-1] {2560x1440, 2560x1440@60:1, 2720x1481@241500Khz} ^ [+00:083:975] [Conn_Signal_Type] [DP-1] - DP ^ [+00:018:995] {DispCLK:257142kHz, Min SCLK:600000kHz, Min MCLK:167000kHz} ^ [+00:020:001] [Conn_LKTN] [DP-1] HBRx4 pass VS=0, PE=0 ^ [+00:228:976] [Conn_Mode] [DP-1] {2560x1440, 2560x1440@60:1, 2720x1481@241500Khz}
Hmm possibly, let's keep it off and see if it happens again and then maybe enable it and see if it tries re-connecting the display or what it's doing. EDIT: Multi monitor freesync 144hz maxing Vega memory clock speeds issue is still present too. https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/8yb6d8/radeon_software_adrenalin_edition_1871_release/ Should be fixed at 120hz but also didn't happen prior to 18.6.1 EDIT:
Virtual Super Resolution settings may not retain after updating to this Radeon Software release.
Yeah it's dropping that isn't it, going back to non-VSR resolutions so toggle off and it stops misbehaving and then AMD and fix it, well there's some other issues waiting for that but hopefully sooner rather than later. EDIT: Small wonder this hard to read with just entering the text like this and that blink issue and I was completely lost and focused on that instead. EDIT: Well it's a bit more formatted now but I should be able to do better. EDIT: Of course a lot of it is pretty much code or copy pasted so it's no wonder it's a bit hard to read even before I paste it into the thread itself.

anyone understand a word this guy said above ?

It's nothing terribly important. 🙂 Essentially much like AMD themselves announced the iGPU graphics drivers are updated roughly every three months so this driver now has support for mobile GPU models thus the additional entries. Beyond that you have what looks to be two new Vega GPU entries and files for what looks like Vega 20 which we know is coming out later this year but workstation and deep learning with focus on AI so not a gaming card. 7nm Vega (7nm+ I assume.) might be for workstation only with Navi or a new Polaris GPU as the next gaming card in 2019 perhaps. The rest? File changes from 18.6.1 and 18.7.1 followed by dumping a file AMD stores driver profiles in and then comparing these to pick out changes to game profiles and other bits, there's usually some unlisted tweaks but the most I can get is primarily Crossfire GPU profile changes and something related to D3D profiles. Mostly finding upcoming games and AMD adding support for some titles early via this although it's mostly tweaks for existing profiles maybe helping performance or fixing some issues. (But it's usually more than the release notes point out.) After that it's just a quick link to AMD Reddit's 18.7.1 topic pointing out the current issue with Vega GPU's not clocking down to idle for memory speeds is still a concern for people using multi-monitor setups at 144hz which seems to be fixed by dropping down to 120hz and wasn't a problem before 18.6.1 came out. Any other major known issues and problems with the driver will be revealed within the next couple of days as other users report their problems and experiences, as will possible performance gains in current games beyond what AMD provided here with Earthfall.

Graphics and memory clocks may remain at higher than expected values after watching a video or using Windows DVR while in game. A workaround is to reboot the system.
Behold, the historic day when the CGN 1.0 DVD bug is listed in the known issues is upon us! Jokes aside, it's good news. We might see a fix for it.

The big update later this month?

Yes, I did.

The big update later this month?
The BIG update is always in December. Maybe next month we gonna get some new stuff..but the big one is always before christmas.
data/avatar/default/avatar38.webp
Two big updates a year as AMD said. July and December. Just like 17.7.2
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/34/34585.jpg
Hmm iGPU updates in INF?.... gonna try it on my 2500U this would make it the FIRST Adrenalin then.
data/avatar/default/avatar16.webp
Still have October 2017 drivers and no issues with games. Should I update?
data/avatar/default/avatar01.webp
Does this driver fix the DX11 stutter and AMD Settings & ReLive OSD from going blank or did AMD forget to mention that in the release notes?
data/avatar/default/avatar30.webp

Well yes....me and plenty others do..He even taught me with a couple of parts of the process I just did not get a while back for my needs. Since Jonas does it...even though I and other can..we let him do it. YOu can learn a lot between driver builds with this info.

Depends really, i take it you are also using the HP Ryzen also with the quote of their latest driver which is nearly a year old which i found the drivers to be pretty unstable with media codecs and didn't support a game i play alot of Stellaris which had compatibility issues with RX Vega in drivers prior to Adrenalin. Still have to manually update via the INF file and select RX Vega 8 but these drivers are so far atleast the best i have used, have full LED back light control, can enable Freesync once again don't have web browsers complaining about hardware acceleration and not being able to access hardware resources. Now granted i didn't get them issues with the oct 2017 drivers but it did blue screen like crazy even doing things like play a you tube video would BSOD. So updated to the drivers on the MS catalogue site would pose the above issues but mostly fixed the blue screen issues but would get the odd ATI video driver scheduler out of sync BSOD when playing the likes of films with Netflix in MS Edge. Need edge if you want to play videos at 60fps for netflix. So far these drivers are a massively huge improvement *touch wood* waking the computer from hibernation was where most of the issues came from, so need to do more testing over the next week to make sure, but so far i am really liking them.

Hmm, OSD doesn't appear to be working now.
data/avatar/default/avatar04.webp
Looks around for draw stream binning rasterizers Looks around for primitive discard . Betrayed by AMD Them broken promises with no hope in sight.
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/150/150085.jpg
Ok OSD is now working. MSI AB must have done something because I proceeded to use that instead. Then I gave it a try again and OSD is now working from Crimson.
data/avatar/default/avatar27.webp
OSD is garbage, there is no history graph or options to edit the layout. Only good thing about it is its close to the metal as they say.
data/avatar/default/avatar40.webp
I run Time Spy with the new drivers and some overclocks on the Vega 64. First of all I can only clock 1727 instead of 1742 now on same settings. However at 1727 the performance is 4% higher than with 1742 overclock. So clock for clock the DX12 benchmark performance is up a+5%. I will run more tests tomorrow.

I would love to get my hands on this so we all adopt it. but alas Nvidia version is the one everyone embraced. https://www.hd-tecnologia.com/imagenes/articulos/2017/08/AMD-RX-Vega-Qu%C3%A9-es-Rapid-Packed-Math-3.jpg Real shame we stuck with what is on offer.
Wow, you a true historian. Nearly forgot about that. However, as been reported FutureMark is no more. It's now fully transitioned into UL. I'm not sure if the Serra project was scrapped or not but any insight would be appreciated.
