No changes here. Oh wait I have 290X, not 390.
http://s32.postimg.org/dcgb5i0t1/20160517014745_1.jpg
Look at GPU usage. Another POS from AMD. Enough of this sht. I preordering almost AAA games and every start it's an uber fail. I can't simply play, because of support. I'll buy 1070 or 1080 soon. Good bye AMD.
He has double vsync on. Thats why tis stuck to 30. Why does he have it is the question.

That is not very helpful post. Try to at least fill your HW details. Then state how you installed drivers and if you tried using AMD installation manager to remove previous driver before installation. And if you went to DDU as last resort. @Rich: Thank You.
It wasn't meant to be helpful, it was an expression of annoyance after messing around for over an hour and a ton of restarts. However, after uninstalling the drivers in preparation to reinstall 16.5.2, I decided to try again and reinstalled 16.5.2.1. I also deleted doom.cfg and the id software folder under appdata/local. Whatever. One of these things worked and Doom now does as well, at a steady 60fps, rather than the 30/60 mix I was getting under 16.5.2 with a mixture of high/ultra settings. Still don't know what caused the black screen bug though.

Opening a page with a youtube video embedded made my screen flicker. Opening the video froze my PC. Haven't had flickers otherwise, but that's obviously pretty bad. Still, gonna keep them for DAT PHAT DOOM PERFORMANCE.

Please Test it for Draw calls in DX11/Mantle/DX12 ST/MT THX ! Compare it to 16.5.1 R280X on 1050/1550 or Max 1600 if you can.

The stupid thing is if his GPU use was 100 percent at 30 fps he would have been a happy chappy. A tradesman shouldn't blame his/her tools for a crappy job. I guess he/she doesn't realise that the same information contextually represented in a query rather than a flame may have actually encouraged people to help with the issue.
I am with AMD for 7-8 years. Also I had crossfire configuration. This was hell. Like I said, I'm preordering almost all AAA games, but with an AMD card you can't just play in day one without a issue. It's an ass pain. I need to read every time steam forums to find some fix or tweak. And the stupid thing is that GPU usage stays at half, and I have 30fps. So why I need that? I could buy an 270X if I wanted this. And P.S.
http://s32.postimg.org/9j1hsywsz/20160517095726_1.jpg
Tried everything. Remove all previous cfg files, reset gfx setting, checked steam cache, removed shader cache folder. No luck. So what pain in the asss Vulkan update will be for AMD users? 😀

Tried Everything? Have you tried settings in RTSS? Like changing 'On-Screen Display rendering mode' to other than 'Vector 2D'?

He is capped to 30FPS for some reason, probably by RTSS or FRTC. This is not AMD or DOOM issue, just a PEBKAC.

Differences in your scores are not coming from Graphics Score, but from Physics Score... That means, you had some additional load on CPU while testing.
No, nothing else working in background, just 3dmark in steam and afterburner.

http://www.3dmark.com/compare/aot/137106/aot/136126# API Test. I noticed that memory readings on my FuryX are wrong on the bench reads, mem is at 550MHz, not 571...:infinity: On 3DMark results are on error margin, almost identical. edit: 20fps increase on The Division benchamrk with this drivers, ill see what happens ingame.. maybe they tweaked just for the benchmark. edit2: fps seems better ingame too.
