What happened to U2716H (2016)? These old spec again, what's going on with dell? I own U2415, bad power management (Nvidia driver, windows 7 stuck 59Hz refresh, and the motherboard won't wake up the monitor on post only see HDMI), DP1.2 problems (gtx770) and brightness gives me headache. Now, this one is embarrassing.

I don't know about the 2415's but my U2715's have none of those problems. The only thing I dislike about it is that you can't access the OSD menu without having an active input. They also seem to have more IPS glow than normal, but I think that's unavoidable when the bezel is that small.

Overall, it looks like a nice monitor.

Sorry to say but dell is not synonimous of quality anymore, my p2715q 4k display has terrible grayscale backlight bleeding, clouding, colors problems in general, high input lag, the stand has a problem that i have to force it to be truly in horizontal, when the pc goes to sleep i have to unplug the power cable and when the pc is off the monitor keeps making a buzz like eletrostatic problem, it keeps going to 59 hertz when 60 and 29 when 30 and now after some months it very often turns black the screen for a second or 2 and suddenly displays again. Im not the one who is having this problems and is not the only product of 2015 almost all sufer from the same problems, just take a look on amazon reviews. Because i live in Brasil and my monitor isnt produced here they dont exchange just money back, they kept me saying for 3 months that they would exchange, then thry said it isnt possible. . . Very bad customer service... terrible!

How long have we've been stuck on 1080P 60Hz 1000:1 monitors? WTF move along, been milking this **** enough.

for 59hz / 60hz https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2006076 basically its not an issue if monitor not waking up on BIOS POST, i think ts because ur GPU bios it setting priority to DVI -> HDMI -> DP/mDP there not much u can do except modding bios or replace with newer card (newer card like 970/980 detect DP/mDP first from what i heard).. for brightness issue, i am not sure... if u using dell display software (DMM) disabling/uninstalling it might help and oh, i think they skip U**16H series (2016) putting **17 (2017) just to make it longer "new" for consumer those year codename sometimes people see it wrongly, example U2414 people it see outdated monitor from 2014, while its not true because dell keep producing it and also changing revision as HD monitor doesnt getting any changes/improvement anymore, i think dell will keep selling this monitor for 2-3years before they release new version with only cosmetic change

for 24" 1080p is still good imo... @2k everything to small without DPI scaling and windows DPI scalling isnt perfect (blurry font/blurry apps that scaled etc.)... personally i think 2K is perfect for above 27", for 4K is above 40"

"•Seamless and precise: The World's first InfinityEdge Monitor has the world's thinnest borders on all sides of the screen, creating an almost seamless multi-monitor view." Uhhhh okay? Based on the images presented it may very well be thinner bezel, but its anything but "seamless".. Do people really fall for this type of marketing jargon? So stupid.. just call it what it is instead of using words to paint an inaccurate picture. Does this look seemless to anyone? I mean why bull$hit? http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?ct=news&action=file&id=13332

I had a U2415H and loved it. Gave it to 1 of my sons because his twin brother had one already and I upgraded to a U2715H. Can't say I've had any of the issues you're reporting. I will say that Fallout 4 demands to run on 59Hz on the U2415H's, and its the only game we've found that has to have that refresh rate.

I've got two u2410's and they work perfectly. The 59hz thing is due to the frequency being 59.99xxx or whatever it is (didn't want to look it up). its a windows rounding thing, not a frequency problem.
