We waited for the game for a very long time, then we waited for it after delaying many times, and then we find a handicapping game full of problems (driving a driver ps1 game) better than it, full of bugs and technical problems that made the company issue updates from 1.0 to 1.0.5 within about a week, unfortunately the game failed Except for the visual effects, which have already been greatly modified from realism to the full-color 3D graphics. I am sad for every minute I waited for the game

I did enjoy the game allot. This is the first single player game that had me going every day for like 50 hours 😉
Too bad now it's boring to play, I one hit pretty much every NPC.. On the sniper I'm getting 50-120k dmg each shot..

If one considers just over 100 hour spent in game not playing, you have me there. It is just there was no way anything in life can live up to the hype this game generated. Aside from the random issues that break it for those that have encountered them...unfortunate. Has it lived up to my expectations...not sure; depends on how the story ends. Was curious since such a general white washing of failure was suggested.
@DannyD Nah, do not have to. Just nice to see what some deem as a failure. Comparisons how what was expected to what was delivered. Gives the devs more of an idea how to improve versus just a simple comment of you failed. Bug free is a Uptonian dream. Obviously CDPR was too ambitious to launch the game on so many platforms in a single offering.

Since the first problems were reported I hung back and havent played this game so they have time to fix it.
But things havent got better, they get worse!
Even the balance of difficulty is screwed, this game should not have been released.
Savegames can be screwed up by digging deep into the decent aspects of the game, the response, with attitude, is to not play anything but the main missions.
CDPR have become what we dread. And the attitude of the company founders is disgraceful from what I have read.
When will this game work without major issues?
I've lost confidence they even give a damn, I dont see this game being fixed/finished.
Nothing I have heard has given me confidence this game will be near what was promised, they cant even get past its terrible buggy state.

I'm really enjoying the game despite all the bugs, it's not as amazing as they hyped it up to be but for me it's the closest I've been to feeling like I was in a William Gibson Novel with elements of bladerunner and ghost in the shell combined with Akira's Neo Tokyo vibe, yes it's a flawed buggy mess right now but there's a lot of great things about this game and if you have the hardware to run it at ultra settings there are moments where it is truly stunning especially in HDR.
Hopefully CDPR will keep releasing patches and fix all the problems and get it running properly on consoles and I think it will be interesting to see with future expansions how great this game could be, the foundation is there they just need to make it all work.

From what I remember at the time the game was using the Frostbite engine, which no developer has ever managed to take full advantage off, except DICE.

damn , would hate if that happen to me. like sink in 40hrs or more , then the save file goes corrupt.

I suppose you could copy and paste the save file to somewhere safer, just in case.

This is what I've done/will do.
I made a shortcut to the savegame folder to make it zippy.
I'll create a batch file to do it when I remember, keeping a history of saves in case there is a general fudging of them.

Backup of save files is idiotic. Cloud exists for a reason. This file shouldn't be totally broken in the first place. Period. A partial mulfuction with possibilities of recovery is more accepted in coding.

Just in case as a very manual workaround, but of course Mufflore's way is much more sophisticated I have to admit. 😉

ahaha I'm re-replaying borderlands 3 from zero no old items and..no cheats this time but pretty much the same thing
dropped a 1200x7 ruby wrath at lv23 which 1-shots bosses when my best weapons had like 300 ok they shoot faster ok that's a slow rocket launcher but still...thats' almost 30x the damage in 1 click
btw if you havent played it the game is super fun and often beautiful 😱 the music is also awesome and I'm not really a video game music fan

Yeah, but i mean more like, if you are not aware this bug is in the game and you are playing for like 40hrs then it goes corrupt.
