agreed, only real worthwhile improvement is the CPU change.
still, the base model is a very compelling reason for potential buyers of next generation consoles to think twice before doing so.

If they were going to include a discrete CPU in the AMD model, they could have at least done something that can be crossfired with the IGP. Otherwise, they could have just done something from the FX-4000 series.

Very interested to see how this pans out, and hopefully it is plus one for unification,
I mean how cool would it be if everyone was on one platform. That is the future IMO.
I would not have to worry about getting another system to play with certain people etc...

I think it looks cool. I would have to get some info on how well the thing holds up over time and when under some gaming abuse, but I think I would recommend it to people looking to enter into PC gaming. The $500 box is reasonable, you can definitely play some games on it. Perfect price really. I would just probably help them also install Windows on it...
