I really have a hard time understanding why anyone buys anything from Corsair. There is nothing they seem to be the best at and none of their stuff is something I'd consider a good value. Factor in poor QA testing and it's just confusing to me.
I don`t know if they are the best at anything but i can`t complain about their PSUs and about their support, 8 or 10 years ago i bought an 850W PSU from them that after 4 years developed a nasty coil whine. I sent them an email explaining the issue, they told me to send the PSU to them and in return they gave an even better one, and modular. So, i can only say good things from them, at least regarding the PSU department.

Welp... I guess there's not much that can be spied using the PSU, but for sure Corsair is out of my "to-buy list" for anything that can spy. What the heck are they thinking putting a key-logger on their keyboards?

A whole lot better experience than mine with an OCZ PSU. No wonder OCZ went out of business and disappeared.

Putting key-loggers on their keyboards should be considered a criminal case!... 😱 😡

Do they think we are six years old? They got found out. How on earth does a keyboard repeat whole sentences days later if not logging your keystrokes? Just boycott them. Teach these pigs we won't tolerate this anymore.

I've a K series corsair but wouldn't get another, without icue crappy software i don't get a single led working. Apart from that lovely tho. Before updating firmware when i bought the kb it did have solid red leds without icue, Just wish i didn't update firmware.

You are certainly forgiving if you are calling it excellent after it sent your files into the recycle bin and booted into bios on its own. And the customer support even looked down on you until you presented video evidence. Forgiving indeed. But the important thing is that you are happy with it after the firmware update. It would suck if you needed to waste time looking for a new keyboard.
Well, I said it here before: all these "things" (hardware, software) are made by people not machines - mistakes happens. And yes, after the firmware update I can say that for me at least it is the best keyboard that I owned since a Logitech keyboard some years ago - I don't remember the model. If, after the fix, it would have been still a crappy keyboard then yes, I would be mad...about their support...standing in their shoes I could imagine that I would think the same at first: a keyboard that does things on its own..., but they learnt their lesson AND provided a definite fix - by the way they apologized about their attitude and this counts a lot for me. I am very picky about my keyboards because I do a lot of programming and this keyboard is the best for me so far - true that it is VERY sensitive - even the slightest touch register a pressed key but after an accommodation period it works great. About icue...I used it only to set up the lighting and macros, I transferred everything in the onboard memory and uninstalled the thing: lighting, macros, the wheel functions are all stored in the hardware profile without needing ICUE anymore.
