I do have a Corsair K70 Mk.2 "rabbitfire" 😉 and fight with a similar problem. The difference is that it is not typing previous typed text instead the analogue volume wheel get virtually stuck while changing the volume und continue my movement (low / high). It refuses any other key pressed then and keeps raising / lowering the volume. The only to unstuck it is as well disconnect and reconnect the keyboard.

a macro recording that misbehave is 100% keylogging. Needs to be fixed.

When a keyboard manufacturer says they do not record user key inputs that makes me think they record user key inputs more than before they said they didn't do that...... Now I want to know how the keyboard has access to the internet / IP's it is connecting too if indeed it is.

It has to be a keyboard controlled by a rogue AI, so fu××××× cool!

I imagine all the driver/control software is connected to the net. At least my Steelseries software is, otherwise it wouldn't know to download updates. The device software communicates with the hardware, which means the hardware as well can be considered to be connected to the net. I imagine Corsair wouldn't want an absolute disaster to befall their reputation, though, so perhaps this ghost writing never reaches the net.

Two problems with my k100:: - sometimes by itself pressed the "del" key + enter - luckily I found everything in the recycle bin - thank god it did not pressed shift + del... - sometimes my creative ae 9 was not recognized after boot - corsair hates creative and it wanted it out of my pc it seems... A firmware update from corsair a couple of weeks ago fixed both issues - not it works as it should.

I guess we'll find out if a keyboard can be racist.

This be VR AI ghosts using a VR unplugin reverting to reality. AI has been developing in microcode and can transfer between devices now. There are a few leaks though where codes have escaped, on a keyboard they manifest as keypresses. VR soap or bleach has been found effective.

...I forgot - sometimes at boot it pressed the del key and entered the bios.... Corsair support tried to convince me that I am crazy but after a recording with my phone they changed their mind. Long story short: I received an email a couple of weeks ago to update firmware and all the problems were fixed - also the conflict with the creative card

Based on the K100 price tag, perhaps they used some O.MG cable instead of a regular one?

I really have a hard time understanding why anyone buys anything from Corsair. There is nothing they seem to be the best at and none of their stuff is something I'd consider a good value. Factor in poor QA testing and it's just confusing to me.

K100 (the opto - mechanical one) is an excellent keyboard. Quite expensive - true but still cheaper than razer opto mechanical variant. Also, I interact with my pc through keyboard, mouse and monitor - I always want the best for this. Their PSU - I have an ax1200i and now ax 1600i are THE BEST - the ax series. I have a 7000d airflow case and coming from a be quiet 900 pro it is from another world.

But what about them makes them the best? There's a lot of competition for input devices, enough so that "best" starts to become a little too subjective. And that's fine, but if you were to blind test every high-end keyboard on the market, part of me wonders what you'd end up choosing.

Corsair outsources many of their PSU designs; the ones you speak of are designed by Flextronics. Other are designed by Seasonic. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it emphasizes my point: why not go straight to the source, or someone else using the same design?

Corsair isn't doing anything revolutionary that I'm aware of. Fans are where most of the noise comes from, and assuming your old fans weren't crap, I wonder if your new case is getting enough air. While I think their designs are fine, the vast majority of them are generic enough that I would not be compelled to choose them over any competitors doing a similar design. Anyway, if you're happy with your purchases, great - who am I to tell you you're wrong?

- on the keyboard you are right - what is best for one may be average or bad for another but k100 is not an average keyboard - it is one of the best out there - I don't think that flextronics offers a psu with the features of let's say ax 1600i and while it is true that Corsair did not manufactured it, it was manufactured according to their specifications - almost everything is outsourced today - that does not mean that the proprietary firm is just a name - it is the one that imposes requirements, quality standards and specifications for the manufacturer and if you look at reviews nobody says "flextronics made the best psu out there". Yes, you are partial right but these are not by any means average products.

You are certainly forgiving if you are calling it excellent after it sent your files into the recycle bin and booted into bios on its own. And the customer support even looked down on you until you presented video evidence. Forgiving indeed. But the important thing is that you are happy with it after the firmware update. It would suck if you needed to waste time looking for a new keyboard.
