Glottiz:

This is roughly same performance as Noctua NH-D15 which is air cooler at half the price, not to mention air coolers have fewer moving parts and nearly zero chance of failure. Liquid coolers are ridiculously overhyped by gullible "enthusiasts" while good air coolers don't get enough spotlight.
Once upon a time air coolers were all the rage and had all the spot lights...they had there day.

TheDeeGee:

For half the price you have a Noctua NH-D15S which is as quiet, has the same temps and no risk of leaking. Not to mention if your pump dies you're crap out of luck, while the D15S can still manage passive cooling untill you get a new Fan if it would die. Watercooling is overrated.
agree! But look wise i have to admit proper water cooling looks nice, it gives off a mechanical, pumping something complicated looking V12 engine look 😀 But i would always stick to air cool - water and electric do not mix 😱

Yeah Beyond the slight noise reduction, this is pretty unimpressive all things considering. Then again i will keep to air cooling, i'd rather not risk water damage
Corsair warranty will replace ANY parts of your PC damaged if the cooler leaks. Corsairs customer service is first rate.

I have to tell ya...My H100i v2 cooled PC has been in checked luggage twice..* Its been hard frozen once, i mean hard, 10 F (temp storage) When in Mexico it baked in a car parked in the sun for day at 100+ F Its Been installed in two PC,s also. Its not leaking or making even a slight motor noise. Just say,n. I couldn't have air cooling. The cooler would rip off the board going thru an airport luggage experience. *yes i know that's insane.

Yes, sane people have laptop for the traveling needs and don't risk their rig by giving it to luggage. For moving, its best to at least taking whole rig apart and take essential parts with you on board. So having cooler installed while moving is bad idea in general. Glad it got going for you though.

So, here comes the new 6th generation of Asetek uh? Nice to see noise-does-matter for AIO stuff.
