Just when you thought the LED maddness couldn't possibly get any worse.... 🤓 Don't get me wrong I am not one of those "I hate EVERYTHING LED" guys - I do own a Razer Blackwidow Chroma and a Deathadder Chroma AND I have a Heu+ in my case.... Waiting on the day they just replace the window with a massive square LED, or better yet, all side panels in controllable LED's, hardware doesn't matter, just the amazing panel lights you can control! ZOmg. Or, maybe make the panels game and software dependent so it turns all red when your HP is low in games.... :banana: Edit: You heard it here first folks! Just wait and see! hehehe :P

I've been looking into an LCD side panel, there's one made by ibuypower but it's cheaper to make your own and plenty of guides on youtube so might be a nice summer project. [youtube]wC1GOgrpQsw[/youtube]

It's not just a fan controller. It's also an LED controller, a USB hub, and has temperature reading plug thingies.

The problem is that the Commander has no proper competition that I know of. The NZXT Grid+ V2 is voltage-only, not PWM and it has an annoying "feature" - it briefly ramps up fans to 100% when it thinks they are not spinning (even though they are). I tried to like the Grid, but out the window it goes when the Commander is finally in stock.

Corsair should allow users who purchased the Corsair Commander prior to 2016 to exchange for the Pro as a thank you for Alpha testing it that entire year. Never has a piece of hardware caused as much frustration as that thing for the first year I had it installed.
