Interesting piece of hardware even if the idea of airflow is not really new.. i.e. Silverstone if I'm not wrong. Professional review as usual !

I wish you would start doing video reviews. It's time Hilbert. 😀

Interesting presentation, I can't really call it a review... Where are the temp ? The price is 200€ without the vertical mount (+25€). I really like the presentation makes me want this new case, but after reading full review about it on others websites, it is far from having a good cooling efficiency. Without the vertical mount, the temps are just unacceptable, with the additional 25€ vertical mount it becomes just case with an average cooling efficiency, it is far from the efficiency of my Mastercase Pro 6 way less expensive. CM focused on esthetic and forgot cooling efficiency. Guru3D approved the aesthetic, I approve too, but cooling should be considered so I would say this case is not recommended.

More like Blandteks. This case is actually innovative. Blandteks is just style over substance. However, non of these star trek cases appeal to me that much as they are too bulky considering that you lose 5.25" bay access. They seem a bit dumb to retain the size, even adding bulk, with no drive bays just so people can mount senseless AIO's for the CPU while leaving the GPU, the thing that gets much hotter for gamers, relying on small noisy fans and lesser coolers than basic CPU tower coolers. Backwards as fudge but, "Muh AIO", "Muh CPU overclock". It's going to take something much more interesting and thoughtful in design than even this case to make me want to switch from my Lian Li/ Lan Cool Alumimum Skin/Steel Frame hybrid. And yes I still use the occasional optical media you wankers.

This case has excellent GPU temperatures, the best ever seen, but amoung the worst CPU temperatures. GPU gets direct cold air blasted at it from underneath so that's why such low GPU temperatures, and the CPU just gets recycled hot air rather than any direct cold air. I also can't believe there are no exhaust fans on this case! CPU thermals would be better if there were exhaust fans in top panel, and it would help GPU temps too (even though GPU temps don't need improving in this case). (This was testing on Gamers Nexus.) The case looks good, not bad, I'd like to see it tested with exhaust fans in the roof to see if that lowers CPU temps.

I thought 200mm fans were the norm on any decent mid to large cases. Mine came with 2 (top and front) and added a 3rd one for side.

:p:p:p the size on Phanteks is for watercooling and mods. the build quality is exceptional (idk about the "cheap" itx). and i like "Star Trek" 😱 😱;) but you are so right about optical media...even tho it's almost like a Zip drive or a floppy nowadays.
