HAF XM here, waiting for new models. I like the low reps 200 mm fans in front and top despite i have a WC loop.

The HAF X was the worst case I have ever owned. So hard to take apart and clean, no regard for ergonomics, overpriced, too few fans included, limited fan options and somehow despite it's size and even when I had all fan slots occupied, both my gpu and cpu had +5-8c compared to the $59 Antec 300 mid size case I had before it...absolute garbage. Now I have a Phantek Enthoo Luxe, problem solved.

lol thats rather funny because my 932 has stellar airflow. i dont see how the X has limited fan options or quite frankly how you critique its ergonomics when it has a ton of open working space inside & toolless clips etc. the HAF series had great features at perfectly reasonable pricing considering the competitions offerings & respective prices. im glad to see it return, modernized.

From what I remember you could only replace the front fan with either a single 140mm fan or 2 120mm fans...and the whole case dust intake design was such that it took an absolute litetime to clean and you had to remove both case sides to remove the front dust filter and to get the top fan section off to clean them. You couldn-t just pop the front or top off. With my current case half the filters can be removed just by sliding them out and the others can be removed by just popping the front and top off by pulling. Not hidden tabs that require you to remove both aide panels to pop the 6 internal tabs off. Also you do not own a haf x....so I don't see how having a totally different case is in any way comparable. And i'm telling you for a fact that after moving all my exame components from a mid size budget antec case that was easier to clean...into a new haf x with like 6 extra fans...that my components were at least 5 degrees hotter with the same fan push pull config.

To each it's own ... maybe you live in a dusty city or something ... I have a HAF 932 and I would not change it for anythink in the world. You are right that it takes a lot of time to clean the case ... but this is what takes us ( forum ) away from the majority ! For me it's a pleasure to clean my PC even thou it takes almost 2 hours but I remove even the CPU from the motherboard and clean each fan with wet tissues . Nice to see this case back in the market but I think the HAF X or HAF 932 looks better

Same here.. still have my HAF-X ... most important for me is the place you can have with it for big height radiator on the top of the case ( 9cm on my rad ) and the place for setup h20 loops. In reality, most of the time, i dont have any fans running outside the gentle typhoon fans of the radiator. ( 3 pass radiator ). no need more for the 2 GPU and the I7 6cores.

932 isnt a totally different case lol its almost exactly the same except that the front pops off (apparently the X doesnt, you say? okay, thats dumb, i agree) HAF series was designed for functionality in both mounting options (fans & rads) & yeah airflow. im not saying youre lying about your temps, im saying theres no good reason for that to have happened. shrug anyway ive got my eye on these mastercases. dont really have a reason to move up from my 932 except one broken toolless clip but ehhh 😀

I used to have a coolermaster case and it was terrible. This one might be better but still it was a pain to work with and poorly built. Swapping over to a nzxt phantom was the best thing I did. Even thermaltake seems to make better cases then them to be honest. I worked with one before and it was a really decent case for the money. Coolermaster does however make some really good cheap fans and the hyper 212x turbo is a solid product.

Back in the day I decided to get the Raven RV03 instead of the HAF X. I haven't regretted it at all.

HAF X? The front filter is easy to pull at the bottom since it isn't part of the whole front panel, no need to remove the side panels for that. http://i.imgur.com/rxL72Zl.jpg

I'm using my old HAF922 for now, but I honestly hate this case. Still not sure what I'm gonna do case wise with my next build. I'm not going to use the HAF and the NZXT Switch I have is just too big. Thinking of doing a Lian-Li case.
