Comanche announced for PC

Comanche used to be a super cool prototype helicopter back in the day, but these days there are far more interesting, higher performance concepts around. The game should have gone with one of those, instead of the old RAH-66. The key factor would be pusher or puller rotor(s), or tilt rotors, which would allow greater speed and range. Comanche was supposed to be a stealth chopper, but otherwise it was very conventional. With modern radar technology, I doubt it would be overly stealthy anyway.

Multiplayer no thank you sick and tired of games only multiplayer all i ever see is hackers glitcher's on line what about us single player gamer's

That name brings back memories. At the time i was still messing around a lot with games like Jane's F-15 and Longbow 2. And then somewhere around 2000 screenshots like this started to appear in game magazines. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steam/apps/32750/0000008947.1920x1080.jpg I couldn't believe my eyes, those water effects looked amazing at the time! And that helicopter was the coolest thing ever. But yea... this is one way to revive a game series and kill it before it has even come out.

I too have no interest in multiplayer, but if it has a single-player campaign or decent bots I would still consider getting it. I don't mind multiplayer-only games as long as the bots offer a real challenge.

I remember I would just hover my helicopter over the water and daydream back then.

Damn shame that it's online multiplayer, was a fan of the older games and would have loved to see a campaign mode that also had co-op option. Seeing the drones in that closed space reminded me of something like Descent and what's with stealing Daft Punk Tron sound-a-like music for the trailer.
