But the cord can get in the way when playing games and anything that provides some resistance to the mouse doesn't help. i can't stand the weight of the battery ones, well, i even used a wired xbox controller because of the weight issue.

that thing is a complete copy of the roccat apuri, only without the USB-Hub, take a look: http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Accessories/ROCCAT-Apuri/ the apuri does it job, when placed correctly its helping alot with the cable, and the USB-HUB is a nice bonus, I cant see why this Skorpion should be much better or worse than the apuri, but if you consider buying it, buy the older apuri...
