This is so dumb. Who fault is it, Activision or Microsoft?

Windows Store and CoD, the biggest No No ever.

No big surprise here seeing as this is not a MS game, third party not wanting to give two copies of their game away over two platforms, who would have thought. lol

Are they freaking serious? I knew the new GFWL would suck the big one but damn :heh:

That's pretty dumb and it will not help Microsoft to market their store (no that I want them to).
I have never heard of such a split in PC player base (at least with games on Steam). For instance, when you buy an Ubi game on Steam, you have to install and run Uplay to launch the game. I believe you play with every other owners of the game disregarding where they bought it.

I dont think that I have played CoD game after Word at War, I think reason I stopped playing these was dropping dedicated servers. Trailers for this looked good and was thinking that perhaps I should try this new one. I have not played FPS games online for a long time so kinda curious... But that Windows Store and Steam version not being able to play together is just bull**** so will not be buying this one either.
I also do not like to pay 60€ for an Activision game.

With this being known who on earth would get it through MSStore, obviously if you want the largest player base to play with/against then you'll go to Steam to get it.
I understand why MS wants to join the party but my Win 10 is probably never going to see any MS store as long as it's still possible to do away with it. Cut it right out of MS's OS.
My worry is one day MS will integrate the Store so deep in the OS that it becomes impossible to remove/disable without breaking the OS by doing so.

And i hope they will blame piracy once again for the appalling sales 😀
