"We have to Go."; "I'm coming with you." That killed entire trailer for me. Best part for me: Soundtrack

I know I will now say a blasphemy - but I really didn't like the first BR. It is not that I didn't understand it or else, it just didn't "click" with me. It was good, but that's it. Though I am waiting for new BR and will definitely watch it. Maybe this one will impress me more?..

I have the luxury of watching Bladerunner on 100in projector screen in 1080p, and it is just glorious, Tv's simply can't do this film visual's justice.

funny thing, the original movie was a flop (and fully cut by the production to acomodate everyone) with one of the worse critic in press... it become a masterpiece of the cinema at the release in videoclub and on VHS with the fantastic director's cut. one of my best movie in my media library 🙂

Hate trailers, they add all the key bits of the movie to it, after the trailer there is no point to watch the movie.

I noticed that the more they try to advertise the movie, the more you can be disappointed. Have all the good scenes shown again in the trailer and there is nothing else?

So i assume this is not based on the directors cut but on the original version, or Deckard would be dead by now

Good trailer - Bad movie isnt a new thing, for this kind of movies a good thing to do is try to watch it from a new perspective trying to keep it apart from the original, then you could enjoy it. When i watch MM Fury road i was expecting some kind of MM 4, that was very disappointing.

Hopes are really, REALLY high for this, even before seeing the trailers... so yeah, I'll definitely join the please_don't_suck club. 🙂

It should be noted this director is amazing, and basically all of his films are quality. This gives me great hope.
That's really good to hear. I can't wait for this to hit the Cinema.

This year there should be a series out called 'Philip K Dick's Electric Dreams' from Amazon, with stand-alone episodes based on his work.

I would like to (in)formally request a new rule to be added for the overall forum rules including all subsections: "When linking a video for promotional purposes, please only link OFFICIALLY RELEASED videos from THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS." In other words, I do not want to click on a link which takes me to an UNOFFICIAL video that is NOT from the COPYRIGHT HOLDERS. Example: If Warner Brothers have a new trailer for a new film, I want to have a link that takes me to the OFFICIAL Warner Brothers website/microsite, like this: http://bladerunnermovie.com/ I do not think Guru3D's forums should be used to add revenue (in)directly by allowing members to link to website/microsites for people who are not connected in any way to the actual production or promotion for a new film - and have done nothing but DUPLICATE content (sometimes very poorly and highly compressed visually) and add 'Wassup!, It's cha-bhoy here with a new trailer...and don't forget to hit the like button below to support my weed addiction...hahahaha' Warner Brothers (in this instance) deserve full credit for the success (and failure!) of this film...not some basement-dwelling troll filling their bong and waiting for their mom to call them upstairs to empty the trash. /trigger over, OT: Awesome movie, awesome director.
