Cheers fpr clearing that up Hilbert. i was under the impression that you had to own 1 and 2/or Minerva's den, to get the upgrade, not just one of the titles. I loved the first one, and to see it updated with contemporary graphics is going to be worth another play through 🙂 Just the opening sequence is going to be fun. 🙂

Cool! This is Cool! I recently reinstalled Bioshock and was VSR'ing for a "boost" But now I will just wait for the Remaster to continue. I don't have Minerva's Den so I guess I will miss out on that and I never really liked Bioshock 2 but I guess with the Remaster I might give it another try.

This is great news! BioShock 2 is on my backlog and Bioshock on my wishlist so still haven't finished either. Guess I'll quickly find a deal on the first one to be eligible for upgrade... as I'm guessing Steam price will be higher after the Remasters are out. Having the previous titles run on Infinite'esque graphics sounds cool. Though I suppose the remasters don't quite match Infinite but an improvement is an improvement. PS: I originally had the GFWL disc version of BioShock 2. The GFWL key activated fine in Steam around two years back already so owners of GFWL versions shouldn't have any trouble.

VSR??? Did you mean DSR? Anyway, this is cool, I'd been thinking of reinstalling and playing the first two games in the series. I'll just wait a few days for the remastered versions to show up in my library EDIT: The 2k website actually states Sept 13th, not 15th 🙂 https://www.2k.com/games/bioshock-the-collection Ok never mind, seems that's console release date only. Carry on 🙂

Why is that so funny? Many games that dont need a remaster actually did it. Metro, Hard Reset, Skyrim, Darksiders, Last of us (2 times) and list goes on...

No I said VSR which is what AMD calls it. It's actually alot nicer to use, you just turn it on in the CP and the upscaled Res's just show in game with all the rest of the choices rather than fiddly DSR were you have to make "custom" ones for what you want to use it on 😉

Not sure what you are going on about with nvidia and their DSR use...., but I do believe they were first to the realm of upscaled resolutions. Not to mention there is "one" setting in the user CP through nvidia to enable whatever scaling factors you want to use across all profiles....it's called the general profile tab that changes "all" settings to all games if you want. Now if you want to make a custom profile for a specific game to run a standard setting.....you can. Another reason nvidia wins with their profile management software you can make all kinds of things happen regarding games' support on their hardware.

VSR is literally a single "switch" NOTHING else to do. The upscaled resolutions just show up in your games with all the rest of the choices. Who needs "profile management"? I also have plenty of "profile crap" I can do too but VSR is not one of them...;)

nice I have 1/2/infinity might have to give them a replay. Or should I say play I have them but never got round to playing them. It is a shame producers of Metro/Metro last light didn't do the same with there game upgrades.

It would be better, if they would fix iOS version, which is crashing right after start, was even removed from Apple Store, its shame, simply dont support game after OS upgrade..
