Nothing like that.. if it happend and Intel eat nvidia ( but like i have explain the market is protected agains that ) .. nvidia will just disappear .. end of the road. if Intel adopt Nvidia and use Nvidia hardware technology or proprietary the same way Nvidia is using them, Intel will be forced to disappear by the Federal trade comission ( FTC USA ) and the x86 system will be dissolved in multiple company for allow competition ... thre's no road who can bring to a merge of Nvidia + Intel.. anyway not for this next 10 years ..

i've wished more probably nvidia would merge with amd... and intel be alone with an enhancement in personnel with hundreds of immigrant employees from gpu departments... that's a realistic scenario...only with that way market will be healthy and competitive on every aspect...

What does this mean, other then a rumor

Even if it'll happen, just another reason how to take more money from customers. Nothing will happen more innovative or something like that. Stop dreaming.
