Only 2560x1080 and its $999....
Ill pass.
Same res as my 25 inch LG 25UM55-P
144hz is very nice and so is the curved 35 inch.
But Id rather spend $750-$800 on a nice 3440x1440 21:9. I dont mind 60hz or 75hz.
I almost never use vsync, and have my monitor overclocked to 75hz.

whilst its specs are pretty decent i dont think many people would shell out $1000 for it when they can get similar specs for a few hundred dollars less.
saying that, i wouldn't turn one down if i was given it for free 😀

I dont normally post on forums, but couldnt help myself.
I have had this monitor for 2 weeks and i think the trade of is worth it for me.
Sure the res is low compared other 34inch monitors, hower im comming from the rog swift so going back to 60hz or even 75hz just is not an option anymore.
Its not as fast as the swift but its close.
With dsr at 144hz at 35inch curved things look pretty good, and we wont bee seeing 1440p res at 144hz im guessing until display port 1.3 which hasnt even been released on any current gen graphics card.

I won't be buying anything with the curved gimmick. Curved screens only matter when they surround you and aid your peripheral vision, like IMAX. You should and will never be that close to a desktop monitor for the the curve to be a good idea.
And for home theater watching, it's an utter joke. It makes the pictures HARDER to see for the other people in the room...in addition to not making a difference because you are too far away.
Bigger screens, higher resolution, faster refresh, real blacks (OLED, etc.), wider gamut...those things make a difference and are what the manufacturers should be focusing exclusively on.
