Intel need to convince client 1st then exclusive partner will be easy to found. I don't know why but i am optimistic... I hope Intel will not desapoint me.

Rumours (chatter) I have seen that Evga may finally going AMD GPUs. XFX is also exclusively AMD. Pretty sure Powercolor, HiS, and Dimanond all are still. Evga is the only gpu I buy when i do buy nvidia.

Probably intended. They may not want sells to be too high initially because they also used TSMC which I suspect the volumes they contracted were not very high. I see this as a good move for a first generation product.
