ASUS is not alone: https://bandaancha.eu/articulos/productos-certificados-wifi-6e-canales-6-9817 Netgear Nighthawk RAXE500 will also come with 6E. And just so that people don't get confused, the Xiaomi AX6000 is NOT Wifi 6E. It's Wifi 6 that has implemented some Wifi 6E features into the 5 GHz band, but it's not true 6E since it doesn't support the 6 GHz band. Edit: the Samsung S21 will have Wifi 6E thanks to the 888 chip, but the Xiaomi Mi 11 might not even though it uses the same chip (unsure until Xiaomi explains if it has the proper antennas).

I'd rather have a Stars Wars bat fighter router than this 8 antenna monster and like graphics cards, gamers are being done over with uber wi-fi 6 routers. I'm using my broadband supplier's ordinary router which supplies my Dell XPS 17 laptop with plenty of wi-fi broadband speed (contract provides 70 Mbs). A wise man advised me to use a pair of high spec powerline adapters I already had for my gaming computer so that method supplies my gaming rig with ethernet broadband speed & reliability. That saved me the cost of a very expensive wi-fi 6 router LOL

Wonder what CPU it has to handle 11000Mbps

Man is simply not so wise to recommend power line for gaming use.

Well... 70 Mbps is pretty slow, so even Wifi-4 will suffice, but for people who have 600 Mbps or more, Wifi-6E will bring tons of improvements, especially in crowded cities.

LOL, just two of us in the house & wifey not into tech so 70 Mbps is plenty enough for Steam, 24/96 res music or 4K film streaming etc. Of course if there are a bunch of you sharing a broadband supply then 70Mbps not enough. And don't get me wrong, I love new tech toys but not prepared to pay adopter rip-off prices. Just bought a new gaming rig to include an ASUS Rog Strix 3080 OC and replaced my 10 year old Dell U2711 1440 with a PG35VQ but I held off buying the monitor until I could buy it with a £700 saving.

See my reply above re 70Mbps. Well aware of the advantages of wi-fi 6, been reading all the reviews on the wi-fi 6 routers since they were first available. If you need wi-fi 6 then it might be worth paying adopter prices, why waste your money if you don't? And my Dell XPS 17 laptop has ax so when wi-fi 6 routers are reasonably priced I might upgrade to one for the fun of it. The ASUS Hero XII mobo in my new gaming rig also has ax wi-fi so ready, if & when.
