as an owner of multiple ROG gear i can testify that Armoury Crate is a hot, hot mess - particularly with Win 11 where there are still TPM issues with fan curves and profiles. that said, if this is your look ok, but that $300+ dollars would be better spent on a copper aio

Surprised it still comes with the outdated Noctua fans and not the A12x25.

Putting all these things together, we can surely approve this product for the whole package, and Asus did a nice job with this cooler, but it wasn't revolutionary – the main focus compared to the predecessor was the larger display.

When the 5800X3D comes out can we see how it does on this?

Arctic using thicker radiators than the competition seems to be really smart since their coolers keep up or surpass everyone else while maintaining fairly low pricing. While I wouldn't touch any asetek based product because of their patents strangling innovation they are a market driver and it'd be nice if they upgraded the radiators.

Unfortunately Arctic fans are garbage, I had 2 120's replaced and one 140 as they developed loud hums at some rpm. And the VRM fan got loud on my AIO as well so its been replaced by a Fractal Celsius. Unpopular opinion based on my experiences, I do believe they are cheaply made and over hyped.

I've heard that before about the VRM fan, but I haven't heard about the radiator fans having problems. I have the 240mm AIO and bought a 5 pack of the 120mm PWM fans due to the price. I'm about 5 months in with no issues. Time will tell, but so far so good. There's no question that they've cut corners to deliver the lower pricing which you can easily tell on the fans by the blades and the flex around the mounting holes. I do think the performance speaks for itself though and there's no denying where they fall on charts.

Was going to purchase an AIO! It’s been almost 6-months in trying to making a decision. The market has been more than flooded with manufacturers including those which originally and exclusively offered PSU’s and now are proffering AIO’s. I am also seeing many AIO sellers cutting back and EK is laying-off 25% of its employees. What will all of this do to the continuing quality of the AIO’s as RGB, pump TV screens and marketing hype are seen to overshadow production shortcuts and value engineering. The $300 Ryujin II 360 tells the story with offering a lesser quality of Noctua fans! My continued use of the ‘Armoury Crate’ software with my Asus laptop has also been a disappointment. In fact why would I buy a Ryujin II and which as reported by ‘verified purchasers’ on Amazon that the “Crate” was unable to saisfactory control the RGB and pump mechanism. And lastly money for me is playing its final tune. Who ever thought that the AIO market would ever reach $300 plus. I may have to wait to purchase any hardware until hell freezes over?
