Thanks for the review, great stuff as always Hilbert! After reviewing all models im considering, could i get your honest opinion, which one would you recommend considering current prices?
ASUS ROG X470-I @ 177€ (wierdly the b450-I is same price right now)
ASUS ROG B350-I @ 142€
GigabyteB450 I Aorus Pro WIFI @ 122€

It is almost impossible to answer as it depends on what you plan to do with it and how many features you need. See if you OC massively, the ASUS has the better VRM. For default clocks, it just doesn't matter. Needs more than one M2 slot?, or do you prefer a bit more simplification and save some money ... I can go on and on. ASUS offers little more, but you do pat the premium for that.
Best value would be the GBT or one that you are not listing, the MSI B450i Gaming PLUS AC (which I use myself). Perf wise it is all give or take a bit, close to similar. I would not opt B350 as B450 has XFR2 and slightly better memory support.

another home run HH.
this is an exceptional board...but at quite the premium price. in California, this bad boy is $25-$50 more expensive than the competition...basically the price of connectivity for having 2 usb 3.1 gen 2.
i would've bought one for the office, but i bought the MSI instead and used a hub.

This tiny little thing packs some serious punch!

I didn't expect to see such good VRM temperatures and overclocking results, both with this tiny board & the stock cooler, I'm surprised!

Is there a micro B450 board with similar VRM quality?
