Speaking of ROG, I hope to see Asus make some strip am4 boards, the aesthetics on the z270e are sooooo nice.

600$ for a motherbord and waterblock seems to much to me. isn't it?

It is, I'd expect X99 for that price.

Can you imagine the prices on X299? Oh, my...

Thanks HH for the review. Asus does not disappoint when it comes to quality motherboards. I did not see temperatures when overclocking that 6700K. Oh boy! your 6700 sucks when it comes to voltage. 1.392v for 4.8GHz?!! Touch wood on my previous 4790K and my current 7700K, I have to negative offset them to get to 4.6GHz(1.20v), and 4.8GHz(1.216v) respectively.

This makes me feel good with my rig, my CPU, MB and RAM cost 555€... Like Hilbert said in his review, i don´t understand the point of buying such an expensive MB for cpus like the 7700K/7600K but ok....

For that kind of money they could have given one more expansion slots. That is a deal killer for me.

The price is absurd when X299 motherboards and related updated CPUs are right around the corner. People who have water cooling already are basically throwing away $100 or whatever it cost for their waterblock. Overlocking is the same as any motherboard. And the features are fully loaded, but so are other motherboards that cost half the price. I guess you are paying for the aesthetics. It's just absurd that this is exists at this price point when X299 is a month or two away.

Since when did they bring back tape cassettes, because that's what it almost looks like. LMAO

This is one of those products for people with more money than brains, evidently...;) Fits in the $700-$1500 GPU market brackets perfectly...!

Onboard Intel iGPU has a HDMI 1.4 port? Not for this kind of money. It should have a MegaChips LSPCon.

Just FYI, your comment about wanting 5GbE on this board? You really don't want it. It would have to be on the DMI bus, which on a system with this board is likely already saturated by m.2 SSDs (because who is going to spend $600+ on a mobo and not use RAIDed PCIe x4 SSDs?). Throwing yet another device under the DMI that can completely saturate it is just compounding the issue that already exists. If you really think you need 5GbE (which is not a lot of people, have you seen the costs of even a basic switch?), wait for X299 where it can get its own PCIe link, or throw a 10gbE card in the second PCIe graphics card slot.
