Looks like a much beefier VRM also 8+4Pin for CPU power, even on the lower end of those two models. Both the Z390 versions of those boards only had single 8pin. Should say all we need to know about the power draw on the "new" chips coming

Same as! Enjoyed my Apex X a lot before it died on me. Was great benching on cold with it, look forward to doing the same on Apex XII

I have Apex x299 and z390 Apex xi. Now Apex xi is under chilled water to find some good IMC 😀 This is why I love Apex:
