A most interesting review, some 12 years ago I bought a Dell U2711 IPS 27" 1440 60Hz screen and playing the Crysis games on it was an incredible experience. How 1440 screens have improved during the last 12 years! Two years ago I upgraded from the Dell to an Asus PG35VQ so I really like the Asus monitor styling and generally Asus are on it when it comes to gaming and non-gaming products. Their products are usually expensive but also very well designed & built, you pay an Asus tax just as you pay a Razer tax but no one has to.

1050$ is reasonably priced? With all due respect, I strongly disagree.

LOL ok. Perfect amount of refresh for snobby e sports players that 480p isnt good enough looking. For that price tag, you can get way better gaming monitors, IE Ultrawides and Superwides.

1) this would be a win at $650 but an utter fail @ $1k
2) LG 27" 1440p oled destroys this @ $1k and the 27" ROG oled destroys this at a bit more.
3) to achieve 360Hz @ 1440p also allows one to game over 100 Hz @ 4k... with 4k hdr 600 monitors being more plentiful and lower priced. the thing here is the 27" form factor which says "charge more" to the manufacturer. there are several 4k 120Hz+ TV's and monitors for less - incl. several oleds
this is an E-Peen special for E-sports only and anyone who buys this without a subsidy is a chump.

But you get a beautiful illuminated logo on the back, which increases fps and reduces lag, that's got to count for something 🙄 🙄

PS5/XBox and 50" QLED TV for the same price as one 1440p monitor?
