i have respected Asus for a long time. i own and have owned many ROG/TUF items. but i'm not a fanboy of Asus overall, but a fanboy of feature sets. sometimes those feature sets only exist (at first) at a price and sometimes they're worth it. i had sneered to myself about them getting into the accessories market...until i needed a feature set. i bought the ROG strix Arion M.2 enclosure not for the Aura Sync, but because it's 10Gb/s USB 3.2 gen 2 so i could plug it into a TB if i needed to this SSD is a bit faster than that 😎 but it's still priced competitively for fast PCIe 4.0 M.2

god damn I need that fancy enclosure
