Good thing that i swapped from gpu tweak to afterburner again.

Afterburner all the way I think I've tried every oc software out there and nothing comes close to afterburner imo.

Since I learned that it's basically all the same, I'm also sticking to AB. This is really disgusting... I'd only expect such a behaviour from malware.

Even better, don't use any 3rd party OC software or game overlays. 😉

"How to use Assault Rifles" I hope that's not an Educational Video, as this game should have been tagged as "Fantasy Genre".

"Point the end with the open hole towards the people who's got red markers (not blue), because that's where the bullets come out!" Yes, those videos are for people who seemingly have not been able or old enough these days to have played a Battlefield game, or a shooter at all.

Is it just certain games? I upgraded to the latest a few weeks ago and have not seen any ads.

What about try first, then post a comment?

Who in the right mind thought this could pass? Jesus Christ...

Once i have installed Asus Suite and Asus GPU Tweak on a computer... i should have done anything exept that. It is heavier, work bad, and is source of bug and on top of that is hard to uninstall completely. With this new thing you know what you should avoid to use with Asus things (the hardware is great hopefully).

Or just use Afterburner for tweaking 😀

Well.... never guying an ASUS product again. What is worse is how much data all these companies steal from us everyday with out us knowing. They make profits off our own ideas then sell them back to us.

That feature was always there. I saw it years ago when I had a 560ti and if I remember correctly it only showed ads for asus products but could easily have been disabled and isn't even enabled by default. Why is this only a problem now?

Just purchased an Asus RTX 2060 OC card a week ago. I have not seen any ads in any game or other program like what is described above.

At least they could inject useful adds like russian babes want you or super top models are desperate to meet you and so on...

Umm I think you mean DO use 3rd party software. Afterburner is 3rd party. Asus make the card and GPU tweak, so that's 1st party software lol

So did you buy the tinfoil hat?

In case no-one else tested it already, I did, the news is hoax. Yes, GPU Tweak II has that overlay feature. Yes, it has that particular advert as default picture. However the option is not enabled by default.
