So that's what the they're gonna call the 12gb version I've been hearing about it seems. Even with less cuda cores I think I'd rather get one of these over the Ti version if it has an MSRP of $299. When that will be? Who the hell knows.

Only 300?.. over here 3060 Ti's are $800 to $1000, and literally every single one sold out. All my previous 60 series cards were purchased under $300.... mining ruined everything man.

Wow. So much space between 3050Ti and 3060 Ultra. 3060 will require some clever marketing. If anything, card with stats of 3050Ti should be named 3060, just for sake of product distancing. As there is huge hole between 3050 and 3050 Ti anyway.

Oh its the same here to. I paid the $279 MSRP for my 1660 Ti two years ago but now the way things are going we may never see days like that again sadly.

I usually don't trust rumors on wccftech, but they say because this 3060 12gb Ultra will be between 3060 Ti and 3070 the price will be $449. I have to say that it makes sense like that. Better performance and more Vram = higher price. It could end up being the best perf/price/Vram nvidia GPU at this segment IF and WHEN you can buy it at MSRP. I'd be more interested in this than a 3060 Ti or even 3070.
It won't be as fast as a 3060 Ti just because it has more Vram. It has 1000 less cuda cores and likely a few less RT and Tensor cores. Plus its on a 192-bit bus. This should be a $300-$350 card.

If there was a way to block all these news on the internet regarding the current generation of videocards, I would gladly do it. Never in my life I've seen such a stupid moment for videocards, not even in the mining craze era. I'm so fed up with it. Astronomical prices, for inexistent cards. I don't even understand where is this shortage coming from anymore.

Joke did escape you. There is no space between 3050Ti and 3060 Ultra. Therefore there is no space for 3060.

I think AMD are just letting the hype settle, the 6700 series and 6600 series in xt or vanilla flavour will be the competition for these, AMD traditionally does very well at this level, unfortunately Bitcoin has climbed again so the miners will be chasing any and all cards at the moment and money talks.

Seems like 3060ti/3070/3080 will be replaced with more vram versions sooner than we thought. Nvidia could have released all these 12/16/20gb cards at the start but thats not part of their plan. Im telling you 3090 users ware the smartest ones everyone else got screwed over.

lol, this virtually makes 3070 a very bad choice, with a few percent slower, but with decent amount of VRAM, AND cheaper (assuming there will be any stocks of the cards anytime) edit: oh, or this will be based on a smaller chip, and will be significantly slower than 3070? then it will just makes some chaos with different performance and RAM configs
