Apple seems confident that they can make it work. And considering that now they control, the hardware, the bios, the drivers, the APIs and the OS, they have a better change of doing it than anyone else.

Based on everything we know (or pretend to know), the next AMD GPU gen (RDNA3) will sport an MCM design in the top models. According to rumours, the next Nvidia gen after the Ada Lovelace one this year will also move on to MCM. Keeping in mind everything you said about Apple's control, there's no doubt they could make it work as well. It's a different thing if games on Apple computers will like it, but nobody games on them anyway.

The great irony of this entire conversation is that every piece of tech mentioned will be either out of stock and or financially out of reach given all the BS going on. In 6 months we will consider a 1k GPU cheap after the price shoots up and you end up paying that much for a tank of fuel. However, I sincerely hope I am very wrong.
