This is something i would go for if i had the funds, but it would need a next-gen GPU inside, especially for that resolution which is the selling point for me.

hd graphics 4000 isn't as terrible as you might think, enough to play many older games, or newer ones with many settings turned down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1UdCsmJxhI&feature=related An example of it running 3dmark06, 4000 on the right, 3000 middle, gma 4500m on the left And with the i7 option it will be smoother

I think the new 15in Macbook Pro comes with a GT 650M in it.....of course, you're also paying like $2500.....so not worth it unless you love MacOS or have tons of disposable income.
