Better buy "gaming TV". Has anyone been playing on the new Sammy QLED or LG OLED TV? Been wanting to add another monitor to mine MG278Q but nothing seems to worth the cost.

You can buy a bigger "television" OLED at that and still have money leftover in the end. My 55" OLED didn't even cost me over two grand!! Are these people serious!! HDR or not man this is not a two thousand dollar plus monitor! VA panel HA!

Nope. Ultra wide is so much better than 4k. Ones that need that 4k are just bragging about their pixels. Gaming as the topic that is. And one can take that 3440x1440 and double it to 6880x2880 and have a killer time playing games. All the while destroying the pixel count of 4k.

Perhaps if you recognized you're arguing aspect ratio and not resolution? You prefer a wider aspect ratio, others do not. Go get 'em tiger.
