Thank you for the heads up, but 6bit panels are out of the question for me. https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/ea68333f I've suffered enough in the past and learned from my mistakes, currently my Benq EX2510 is very good to me. I would still like to find a good 24'', 2k, true 8bit and 144hz panel. Take care.

I wish they understood I would pay a bit more for a true 8bit panel. Even Benq started to make crap panels now, mine brings speakers included and I don't know why would anyone use those. They're turned off since day one.

You would be surprised how much people value those crappy build in speakers on monitors to a point that is a deal breaker if the monitor lacks em.

I don't understand how it can be a deal breaker, there's no way anything integrated sounds good. Most people have headphones, earphones, sound bars, speakers, etc. Why try to integrate something that will never sound good?

i work as IT in a company here when we get new monitors to install to a department ....people almost always ask with huge hope if those have build in speakers in em ....also on stores live i saw boomers a few times checking pc monitors and asking over and over if the monitor has speakers .... Normies ...really like their build in speakers with monitors and yeah i do not get it as well ! Even when i was researching monitors to buy i saw the question often on customer questions if the monitor has speakers (not the FAQ).

There's definitely a market for it, but I don't understand why can't they make a simpler cheaper model without them. Just charge more for the premium of "ultra hi-fi with double bass integrated speakers" and let us buy the less expensive model without E-waste and get our own sound.

Because it would be a different SKU which incurs more cost than including 2 speakers that might cost them $2.

I bought one when it came out. It has some minor shortcomings but I was very pleased with going back down to 24" from 27".

Good to hear Amaze, what are some of the shortcomings? Colors a bit off? I'm going to guess the viewing angles are good being it's IPS, black levels ok? I will most likely import it if it doesn't come to the US once the price drops a bit.

Yeah in the bottom right corner there is a bit of color shift. I think most of the time you won't notice it but I saw it right away when opening WoW as it's where I keep my colorful damage meters and I know precisely how they're supposed to look. Some lightbleed coming from this corner, nothing from the rest of monitor. Usual ips glow. Extremely dark games or playing in the dark is not recommended. But playing Control I don't really notice it much unless I look towards the corner. Colors also were not properly calibrated out of the box. It wasn't majorly off but I was able to eyeball it with the windows calibration tool. I didn't make an ICC profile though, I just calibrated the monitor itself. I have no tool to verify my settings but it looks right. Also, text might be an issue depending on your eyesight or how far away you sit. You can scale it though. The biggest pro's for me are the pixel density and the fact that my peripheral vision is far better than when I had 27". It was just too much eye movement for my taste. You can try dropping AOC an email. I know a lot of people have been asking them to launch in the U.S. Also the monitor is 6bit+frc, not true 8bit. But that doesn't really matter much unless you are doing photo/video editing.

Hey Amaze, I play Guild Wars 2, I know what you mean about the damage meters. The color shift might bother me, right now I'm using a ASUS 360hz 1080p lcd and it does have very little light bleed. Looks like if I buy it I will have to calibrate the monitor myself, 🙁 Mine was from the factory and going by Hardware Unboxed it's perfect as is. I will look for a ICC profile then. Yeah I was going to say I would probably need to use windows scaling with 24" 1440p, as it will be smaller on the desktop. Mine is 10 bit but not really true but I don't care about that, 6bit+frc is fine. I will probably buy it in another month or so, hopefully the price drops so I can import it. Maybe AOC will bring it to the US by then. There is also another one from Philips 24M1N5500Z, but no word on a US release yet.

Unfortunately most games ignore ICC profiles that's why I didn't bother. If you can, I'd buy it somewhere that lets you return it if you don't like it. This was a thorough review [youtube=rLoBG6xDmgk]
