I don't know why, but that pure flat back just does something to me...... I likes it.......I likes it a lot!

I'm the opposite. Whenever I see these ultra-flat, ultra-slim monitors, the first thing that comes to mind is "backlight bleed galore" 😛 People get annoyed when their monitors have BLB, but then go ahead and prefer monitors that are flat and slim, forcing manufacturers to make their monitors flatter and slimmer and thus have even more BLB...

It's very slick and nice. I would have preferred a QHD variant though.

Either way it's always an issue unless you to with an OLED. Curved monitors seem to be the ones at the forefront of what you speak of. I personally am holding out for a few more years until OLED's/something similar are readily available. These prices for the new 120Hz 4k HDR shtuff is just garbage.

Not always. Bulky, thick bezels usually have much less or none at all. But there are no monitors with bulky, thick bezels now, because people prefer BLB instead of thick bezels. Form over function.

Now quite sure I get what you're saying because it sounds like you said they don't have thick bezels today and those are the ones that don't bleed, but do not make them today, so how can that be said? I've just been on the fence for years on getting a new monitor because of these "issues" and am so glad I didn't bite the bullet years ago on an ultra wide for the price they are still at for the top tier ones.
