I have 2x 27" 1440p 144hz monitors on my table, as I work at home. 1 for gaming and other monitor for work. I would love to get this monitor with a 1440p vertical resolution, 1080p or less is a no go, as most 49 ultrawides. But right now the cost for me was around 700 euros for 2 monitors. So switching them up for one 49" 1440p... and adding extra 700 for it- no go!

Ridiric:

lol all these people commenting about the pixel density on the 49" ultrawide.... its got the same pixel density as a 27" 2560x1440 16:9 display, its basically two 27" 2560x1440 monitors side by side without a bezel in between... which to be honest is really appealing to me, I don't have the space for 3X 27" screens on my desk, and you cant game with 2X 27" screens as you spend your whole time staring at a bezel if you do that. This type of monitor is awesome if you need the extra space and also want to be able to game on it as well, compared to having to just use one monitor to game if you go the dual screen setup route.
Exactly. I currently have the XFX Triple Display stand with a Dell 27" 2560x1440 in middle and two Dell 24" monitors on each side which I use for other non computer things (left is CCTV display, right never used). Was thinking I'd like to get rid of this setup and replace with a single wide monitor but don't want one with lower resolution & height than I am currently used to with the 27" Dell. This one, or that Samsung CRG90, would be perfect. Here's the link to UK Amazon by the way instead of that american link previously posted: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-C49RG90-49-inch-Ultrawide-Monitor/dp/B07NL27TCK/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1

Im interested in 49in. But not if it cost me 50% more than a 16:9 120hz with UHD res, especially when i get much more height, i didnt say i have physically seen it (how btw, when i linked a website, not a physical store?), but the price it was listed for. @yasamoka because even with the increase in screen height (16:9 screen) i will still see an increase in res (2160), which will look better.

Just bought this monitor and wowo!.! Just a great monitor all around. And can't wait to get it all setup and slamming down some footage on and off if it. That and some Unreal engine 4 action. This monitor and my 1080p 120hz right above it are going to be great! That is when I find a mount I want to stick into my block wall for it. CORRECTION!! Must have been on that "good good" that day I typed this one up. I have the VIOTEK SUW49DA And it is simply sublime to say the least.....
