Just 75hz is not fast or anything of impressive. Why can't we have affordable 100hz monitors?

Because the most used cards out there can't do 100hz yet, but there are some decent higher refresh rate monitors out there at decent prices.

At least its 1 step in the right direction. 75hz can help out people who can still see some flicker at 60hz. I hate the marketing of crappy dynamic contrast, let's see the real ratio for actual quality.

Absence of cheap 100Hz screens is not really consequence of insufficient rendering capability. It is because those screens are simply more costly to make. My AW2518HF has 400cd/m^2 and 240Hz. While it has as smaller borders than screen in OP, it is much thicker as it needs cooling. This AOC has only D-SUB and HDMI + likely cheaper external power brick, so less heat inside. No USB hub integrated. No MHL and so on... Basically no aspiration for anything remotely premium. 75Hz for IPS is at least move in right direction. But nothing prevents you from spending reasonably more and get: AOC C27G1 - 27'' ; 144Hz; FreeSync; VA; ... costs around twice as much. But in price of entire PC, this upgrade is reasonable to extra cost, as monitors are usually to stay for long.

I'm sure any card can do 240hz fine. But can they hit 240 fps on the game you're playing? Most can't. I just want the low cost 75hz to move up to 100/120hz, produced in good quantity the cost would not be that higher compared to 75hz.

At least those things look like it's beginning to look frameless. I think it's good that on the top it's got Freesync. Maybe they'll release a refreshed version with higher refresh rates, then it could be really cool.
