I like the "below 100$" tag considerating that most entry level B450 and A320 are below 50$. Also most B450 sold right now, have the same compatibility out of the box and A320 with all Ryzen 3000. I don't think that the extra this chipset bring on the table need this 50$ extra... Exept the price we have a complete line of good chipset this time with this 500 line.

Well. Where I'm living at the moment (Spain). I think I can't find any ITX below 100€ in Amazon.es

This is dumb, My a320 has gen 4 support lol, yet this 520 wont? k.
What are you on about? A320 doesnt have pci-express 4.0....

You need a b550 or x570 for that.

Or "B550A".....which is nothing but B450 with PCIe Gen 4 enabled and only available to system builders.

The cheapest b550 (non M) is 115$ US. In a couple of months you'll be able to find it for 99$ on sale pretty sure of that.

There is heat issue, but some B450 and A320 are PCIe 4.0 compatible with a beta bios removed from download since, my B450 have it and detected to use the 4.0 when a GPU 4.0 is plugged on it. on other hand it's based on an old AGESA You can found also total OC fonction on A320 (mean everything and not only the mem speed) on older Asrock an MSI BIOS... also removed on latest one.

Mines the latest bios for the a320 and it has full overclock capability. And, PCIE 4.0 has been active since the first bios it had and still is. Not all the 320's are the same, Some were geared towards mild OC usage too. It does, And still does. What are you on about?
A320 supports PBR, but officially does not support overclocking and no board partners have it enabled for a320. Realistically, b450 boards can be found for just a little more than an a320 board anyway, so no point in the a320 having any overclocking potential. Aside from that, there is no PCIE Gen 4 support on a320, so unless you have proof of this....

Just take a look on older MSI, Gigabyte, Asrock, and Asus bios description ("removed PCIe 4.0" "removed OC function to be complient with AMD"...) Not all but most A320, B350, X370, B450 and X470 where having it before AMD forbid to put this in bios. The main issue were heat problem on the most low cost crippling the perf and causing motherboard fail... Also it would have made the X570 lot less interesting (a bit like the Zen 1 that work on X570, that make the Zen 2 less interesting too) Anyway 3.0 or 4.0 ? lot of change on spec paper, lot less in real condition... so the A520 will be perfect with a lower price.

It doesn't, and never did. The fact you're using a motherboard bios that allows the CPU to provide pci-express 4.0 to it (again, the motherboard doesnt have pci-express 4.0) doesn't change this fact, and enjoy your error rate?

Wow dude, ever hear of the edit button? Either way no use speaking to someone who doesn't understand the most basic information. You're blocked.

What are you on? LMAO Dude it DOES and still DOES and is currently USING IT and has been. Holy hell. How is it that hard to believe? Read the crap above, Proof was posted. I don't have the bios that removed it.
No A320 board was manufactured or released to support PCI Express Gen 4. The board partners that enabled PCIe Gen 4 on non-approved motherboards were ordered to remove support by AMD. If you're running the "latest bios", you don't have PCIe Gen 4 support. If you're running the 1600AF that you claim in your specs, you can't have PCIe Gen 4.

HNM1:

I do have it. It is running 4.0 holy hell 😡
The A320 chipset does not have a PCIe 4.0 controller. So, no PCIe 4.0 there. The 1600AF, also does not have a PCIe 4.0 controller. So no PCIe 4.0 there..... No manufacturer has included a 3rd party PCIe 4.0 controller on an A320 chipset based board. It wouldn't make any sense being that the A320 chipset itself is only capable of PCIe 3.0, so any 3rd party PCIe Gen 4 controller would still be limited to PCIe Gen 3.
HNM1:

I'll leave this be and let you guys insist it's impossible when proof is in front of your face all over. lol
If there is "proof" that you can run PCIe Gen 4, without a PCIe Gen 4 controller....provide it. You keep claiming that your motherboard has supported PCIe Gen 4 since it's creation....provide the exact board model. Fact is, you're lying and got caught.

HNM1:

lol It's in my damn bios man, Enable or disable PCIE 4.0 or AUTO. Sheesh. Mad much? And as for OC yes, I have options in my bios to OVER CLOCK. And my bios is the latest for support on 1600AF/2600's (what Im running) up to 3950 non x.
There's the proof that you don't know what you are talking about. There is no such processor as the 3950 non x there is only the 3950x. Nice try troll. It is impossible to run PCI-E 4.0 without proper support for it. If you think that there is post a pic of GPU-Z running with your mouse cursor hovering over the bus speed and that will tell us what the card is running at.
