Most users should be delighted to know that 21.4.1 brings custom install options, either a minimal or a full install. The minimal installation will still require you to download the whole driver pack though, but users are no longer required to enable all the features that are not necessary. The Radeon Software can now be installed in 3 options: 1) driver only, 2) minimal install (adds GUI and settings), 3) full install with game center, capture/streaming tab, performance tuning, and AMD Link.
So it cuts out most of the additional stuff from Radeon Settings compared to Full. A custom option would be nice, depending on user preferences, I for example would like to retain Wattman and configuring say the fan settings or other parameters.

Is BFV Bug still here? UPD. Yes it is. Overall good driver, nice to have some addtional features to play with. It seems notch faster than previous. Will do some 3Dmarks in spare time :P

Same here, not quite sure what happened, my USB devices also went totally crazy after the driver install but then it went back to normal.

Windows 8.1 drivers haven't been updated by AMD since version 19.11.1 (November 2019). The Windows drivers "Download Windows 7/8.1 64-bit (Desktop)" are mislabeled. Those are for ONLY for Windows 7.

I see Forza Horizon 4 freesync is confirmed in this thread as working on the steam version - I hope it is the same for the MS Store version. It has been really annoying getting tearing on my VRR HDTV. Also, looks like they haven't even acknowledged the z fighting in Gloomhaven that I have reported over the last few versions of drivers which is annoying as it is a really bad instance of it. I am however, happy that they are continuing to flesh out and optimize the drivers. I am going to try out some games and will report back if there are any issues. Last driver had some micro-stutter though the new .60 VBIOS did make it much better. Here is hoping it is gone.
