485Eur for asrock challenger 6700xt is the cheapest i could find.
how are those asrock cards ? cause I'm really impressed with my entry level gigabyte gaming cooler. it's super light and compact yet very efficient, never seen my card over 70 degrees, even with a +215w oc profile.

Idk it looks cheap but i heard its not that bad. I would still rather go with sapphire for a little more.

So you have gigabyte gaming oc 3060ti? I read the review of rx6600 gaming oc and it had a plastic backplate. They did cheap out on the lower end cards.

In my neck of the woods, in Asia, a 6600XT can be had for less than 500 local dollars, an RTX 3050 for 600 which is the better choice?

Well i could be interested in a 6800xt or even a 6900xt if i could find them at decent prices but the cheapest 6800xt i can see costs 831€ and the cheapest 6900xt costs 1.000€... So i will continue with my current cards as long as those crazy prices continue...

Wake me up when these prices are halved. They're still stupidly expensive.

3050 is slower than 6600 non xt.

I think amd and nvidia need to be taught a lesson for the future as much as miners. don't jack up prices, dicks. now give us rtx30/rx6000 at 50% or scram.
Viava La Matrox?

Price it like pre-mining boom and they will be flying off the shelf. Wait, it's already close to next gen gpu launch, so add some big discount on top of it.

Kaarme:

The situation might be different in the USA, but I still don't see actual discount prices over here. If you look around more carefully, you will find shops that are selling for a sum that's closer to what it should be (the prices never were cheap to begin with, with Nvidia making GPUs more expensive starting with Turing, AMD following suit). However, a price approaching the original is still not a discount price, it's just a more realistic price after the miner bloating. What comes to the AMD RX series, for example the RX 6700 XT (and lower) were released when the factories were already shipping everything straight to mining lairs in bulk, so RX 6700 XT never had a realistic original price, it was crypto bloated from day one. Only now we are seeing prices that reflect what it might have been without the crypto scheme. Still not a discount, though, over here. After the manufacturers took everything out of the mining craze and made big bucks, I certainly hope they now feel a little bit of anguish trying to get rid of their wares. Just like gamers were annoyed by not being able to buy cards.
The RX 6K cards range from over MSRP to 30% off MSRP in the US. Laughable over a year after launch.

Prices in EU are still cursed. I mean, a Gaming Z Trio 3070 is €650 now which is fine, if it wasn't a 3 years old card. Would have payed that on release, but not anymore now. No doubt my 1070 with last another 10 years.
