That's all fine and dandy in the US, but in other countries there haven't been any 6950's, 6900's, 6800's in stock or able to be ordered for quite some time. Maybe AMD needs to get off their ass and release the 7800, 7750, 7700.

6950xt is ยฃ660 in the UK and available, 4070 is ยฃ580 and the 4070Ti ยฃ800, so AMD have a card nicely positioned as in Raster its not far off the Ti and in some AMD games is right on its heels.

The RX6000 card from MSI are even less expensive and sadly all NVidia card are more expensive. A good point for us anyway.

When? The 4070 costs less than a 1080Ti, is as fast as a 3080 and is less power hungry than a 3060.

"less power hungry than a 3060" most reviews say it uses 30 to 50 Watts more than 3060? or maybe I need more coffee this morning before reading ๐Ÿ˜€

10% lower TDP than a 3070 200w Vs 220w. Also have you seen how small the PCB is, watercooling in a SFF case just became realistic

Keep in mind RTX Remix is rolling out, you won't be able to enjoy all those classic Pre-2004 remasters with AMD ^^

I am interested in the new VLC Beta that uses the RTX image upscaling tech.

Can't run it anyways at 1080p NATIVE without a 4090 full RTRT anyways... ๐Ÿ˜€ By the time we get 4x 4090 RTX power, we can upgrade from all them low rent 6800XT, 6900Xt and 6950XT! Oh my! ๐Ÿ˜€

Half-Life RTX runs perfectly fine on my 4070 Ti.

Too bad the 6700 XT hasn't lowered in price. That's what I'm most interested in, unless the 7700 [XT] offers a better value.

1) weak sauce 2) AMD needs better distribution in EU 3) any price cuts are welcome in this economy 4) i wonder if they have a threshold for rdna 2 inventory sales before they launch their new mid range

Hold up. You genuinely think you're getting a good deal becuase a 4070 costs the same as a 7 year old flagship gpu that's about as fast as last year's 4th best card?

You have a Ti. We're comparing to the non-Ti. Half Life RTX is out?! Can you run 4K?

No, what im saying is that people are getting more hung up on model numbers compared to previous generations, and hung up on paper specs, rather than looking at actual performance. GPU prices are what they are and its completely pointless comparing them to previous generations as a basis for any negative opinion. Every time a card has come out, all people are doing is dripping with the same argument "This should have been 899 or 799 or 699 or 599 or whatever", Just It was even worse when the enthusiasts best friend AMD stitched them up with the 'underwhelming' 7*** series, again it was "AMD have turned into NV" blah blah blah. Either buy a card or dont, enjoy your new card if you do. If yoy game at 1080 or 1440, fancy dipping into a bit of light RT and have ยฃ580 then the 4070 is a great card.

are those close to 70/70ti? peformance and ore matching? if not nvidia probably wont care to much, but receptively the 70 and 70ti should be 499 and 599$ max

I just came back from my local Best Buy store and there was an ASRock Phantom Gaming 6900xt for $569 US Dollars in store deal only. Prices are droping like flies , good news for everyone that needs a new gpu ๐Ÿ™‚
