Well that would be the reason I bought it, I figured after the R9-290X and its heat levels now would be a great time to look into temperatures PCB and component wide. πŸ€“

I'm willing to bet you'll have a world of fun with that over the next few days. Should be interesting seeing some comparative shots of top tier GPU's using different cooling solutions. It's one thing reading the temp in a graph, it's another seeing it in a photograph.

Yeah .. I remember similar pictures of the GTX 480 when it launched. Would be good to see such photos of the 290x both with stock and custom coolers.

Hardware.fr is the only other review site I know that uses thermal imaging on regular basis. Good to see something similar here. Nice investment, I hope it pays off.

Why do this make me think of women? Anyway, iΒ΄m happy and proud that the work put into the reviews gets stronger.

This is awesome Mr. Hagedoorn. I can't wait to see all the awesome reviews with thermal levels. Also great to show where the heat is, while doing case reviews.

Holy crap the VRAM was hitting 85C! Can't wait to see it compared to 3rd party coolers when they come out. Good work boss we greatly appreciate your hard work (but I'm sure you enjoy playing with all these neat toys).
Actually its 70 C, the M2 marking point should have been slightly further to the left. But yeah, cool kit huh ? We're all such nerds πŸ€“
