intermittent loss of signal during Stream Optimization if HEVC is used on Radeon RX 5000 series graphics products or later

Loss of signal at times when using HEVC, stream optimization is not working proper in some cases on HEVC. Would be simple loss of signal of the stream to me that.

sigh sooooo does this release actually fix the amd driver stopped responding? 8 out of 10 times after i fire up comp. (even before logging into windows) it will do the stop responding thing 1 to 10 times for the first 30 min. then all is good

Sounds like your card might be unstable factory oc ones can be. Or something is unstable in your machine.
