please tell me this will work with the mobility HD3200 in my notebook--or if not point me to a guide for modding it to do so? I tried a guide or two on here to try that where I had to replace something in the .inf file to trick it into thinking it was a different gfx card to force an updated driver but it didn't work :| last version I was able to install conventionally on it was 13.9 WHQL.
...very excited for this for my desktop HD5750. it's in the nebulous void between the tested cards and the 'too new to gain but we're working on future optimizations' ... but I am confident it'll likely get twerkin' with this. anyone know if either of these cards are mantle compliant? thanks!

your 5750 doesn't support mantle.

if you have to 'set it right' the ultra terrain then it ain't fixed.

Well to me it looks like its completely fixed now after this Mantle update..
I was at Paracel Storm level and I saw that extra tall dense grass, that's usually missing or not so dense.
Anyway, I agree lame glitch to the max.. :bang:

I believe I noticed some subtle new effects when I was on paracel this mornin, I guess the direct compute lighting.

...actually... it does. at least it's in the list of supported cards, whatever that means. guess what else my 5750 does? renders 3d stereoscopic at 1080p through a single dvi to hdmi cable... honestly why do people post incorrect information.
not sure if I'm :editing: properly, srry newbie ._. ok I figured it out, no mantle support on 5000 series is correct. still impressive performance on the driver which did install. did some research on Wikipedia and it seems the 7000 series was the first to have mantle architecture. aaand I tried to install it on my laptops mobility HD3200 but it wouldn't work. and the oct. update was recent enough for a 6yr old machine so I won't go to the effort of modding since I know it won't support mantle anyway. thanks for the information everyone!
oh. p.s. the integraded 3200 in that laptop does 3d stereoscopy too, w/ iz3d.exe and tridef.exe ... even through vga cable, crazy right? despite all the incorrect information on the internet
p.p.s. I am honestly not impressed with my new NVidia card. just some gimmick to force u to buy their hardware 3dTV's and stuff. won't even work w/ non NVidia sanctioned 3dtv's properly w/o an EDID override so I just use tridef and iz3d on that computer too... maybe I am not getting something about NVidia's so called ease of use w/ 3d. AMD ftw.

AMD Mantle Beta driver is currently supported on:

AMD Radeon™ R7 Series GPUs
AMD Radeon™ HD 7000 Series GPUs
AMD Radeon™ HD 8000 Series GPUs
AMD A10-7000 Series and AMD A8-7000 Series APUs

and I just installed it. working great on HD5750 🙂 I will try to install the mobility version on my mobility HD3200. if that doesn't work I will try to follow the guide modding again.

honestly, I am not sure. that was in fact my original question. the driver has installed (good sign). it is running smooth as ever. I just ran a virus scan with hitman pro and saw some mantle files. it's basically like a new openGL right?

Your card can not use mantle. This driver might work on many AMD cards but only GCN ones have mantle support.
