BReal85:

Yes, say that is overpriced in the USA. Actually, Vega56 is cheaper than the cheapest AIB 1070 models in the UK... 🙂
No it's not, just checked amazon. Cheapest 1070 is £350 and cheapest reference vega 56 is £467, which is even more than a GTX1080

Agonist:

Also OC3D has just posted 17.9.2 is optimised for Project Cars 2.
I find that hard to believe and AMD will have to address the game stutter in Project Cars 2.

Hey guys, the GPU Load Stuck on 16% in models RX 570 and RX 580? Sorry for my bad english haha I'm still using the Driver 17.5.2

Monitor keeps going to sleep mode since I installed this driver. "Yes it is off in windows" I'll Try a old driver see if it fixes it.

Could be that bug though which Unwinder pointed out in the Rivatuner forums a while back. https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/framebuffer-100-and-gpu-load-16-constant-in-idle.416952/#post-5474159
That's known issue, July AMD drivers broken that in multiple tools. But at least it can be bypassed at monitoring tools level somehow, considering that there is updated GPU-Z with workaround for it. Cannot promise that I'll be investigating it in nearest time, currently there are much more important tasks in the development schedule then hunting for endless bugs derived by AMD GPU driver team.

This is a bug in either GPU-Z or the AMD drivers, affecting all RX 570 and RX 580 cards. AMD knows about this but all they did was "which GPU register do you read?" and since my reply I haven't heard from them. You don't have a GPU mining virus (values are exactly 16% and 100%).
Clean install wouldn't help if so but if it's just monitoring related it should be fairly harmless. 🙂
