Cool - wanna see some more dev talk on this tech.

This is the perfect tech to push us to buy the high end cards, but in games does not make a big difference, stop this scam and give us photorealistic games i mean work on graphics and physics not shadows 😡

Will be interesting to see the advantage nVidia retains in RT when a game is optimized for AMD hardware.

I'm betting on fidelityFX being a miracle, from what I've seen microsoft is helping them get that done, ideally it could allow the series S to reach 1440p more often, that would mean big trouble for sony, and excellent news for pc, AMD is often much better at the lower end, where DLSS-like tech would make the biggest difference

it is hard to tell the difference if done right using old techniques

The current AMD GPUs are showing less RT HW accelerated capability than the first gen RTX cards.... so how the hell are they going to support this? I predict it will be a very limited, "burly notice its on" kind of setting....

More than just RT shadows? That's a first, shadows are the only things ever allowed in AMD titles before, because something that actually makes a difference, like reflections, causes a 6800/6900XT to implode. RT capability was an afterthought on the current Navi implementation or AMD are just incompetent, it's one or the other.
More than just shadows for once... I'll believe it when I see it.
