weak profiles for weak games...i still don't have crossfire for darksiders 2 (destroyed scaling death performance) and torchlight 2...all hail to amd...

Garbage update for a garbage game, no1 plays wow anymore... hopefully a borderlands 2 profile will be tweaked in the next update.
WoW is not a garbage it's just isnt what it was couple of years ago...

Can these be installed with the 12.8 cats? Or will you have to wait until the 12.9's drivers are released?
Yes they can.

Tribes crossfire performance improvements?!!! YEEAAAAAAA!!! I was hoping they'd fit in some Star Wars The Old Republic crossfire tweaks for the new shadow rendering that BioWare introduced in patch 1.4. I reported it as soon as I noticed the glitches on the public test server. Flickering shadows and maps. Basically 1.4 undid all of the work AMD has done so far to get SWTOR running properly in CFX. But I guess that's the name of the game with MMORPGs since they're always evolving and adopting better tech. I mean look at all the World of Warcraft fixes they had to do for Hello Panda Island Adventure update! *patiently waits for 12.9 CAP2*

After installing 12.9 and the application profile I still get flickering in SW:ToR on the map and enemy portrait in Crossfire. Cinematics don't work. Everything is blurry as hell and Windows Explorer keeps restarting when the game runs. The game's performance is also quite terrible. I now have to disable Crossfire and significantly reduce the graphics settings in order to get a playable game. Oddly, in the profile release notes it says it includes the older update that's supposed to eliminate this flickering and performance issue.

It's because BioWare completely re-tooled the shader engine for SWTOR with the 1.4 patch. It basically put AMDs driver optimizations for the game back to square 1. We'll have to wait for AMD to put out a new profile to fix everything again, and then the game should run better than ever before. Just keep reporting it, the more people that report it, the faster it gets fixed. I've already done a few reports. ( one for myself and two for friends of mine with the same problem on different systems *they're too lazy to fill out the survey* )

World of Tanks profile. Will this ever be made?
data/avatar/default/avatar31.webp
Why would it? the World of Tanks game doesn't support SLI or Crossfire very well as you can see from their forums. Darksiders 1 & 2 negatively scales in Crossfire and SLI so expecting support for those titles is dumb. I don't have Torchlight 2 to test. I was the one who got Tribes Ascend support added and F1 2012 amongst other games and I also found a profile which works decently for WoW MOP which should be included in the next CAP.

Why don't you have a Torchlight 2 profile? I do from installing the last caps. It runs fine for me. Just customize the profile to use default Crossfire or AFR.

So umm, I play WoW still :P Any reason why I would still get shadow flickering when set to "high" with this cap installed, when it is supposed to specifically fix that issue? Is there some chance my drivers are not utilizing the cap profiles?

Sorry my mistake, average 50fps (Just installed fraps) Pretty sure I was seeing 60fps with MSI AB the other day though [IMG]http://localhostr.com/files/lol1zcE/f1_2012%202012-09-26%2015-22-35-48.png[IMG]
Side note: Are those the "high" quality textures? Because they look absolutely woeful. I've installed F1 2012 already, but can't actually play it because of an "Error 41" bug that causes it to crash to the desktop. Stupid Codemasters.

what are you smoking man? WOW is still as popular as ever....
actually this is false, WoW has been bleeding players since pre-Cataclysm, their numbers are still declining despite new content, part of the problem is that its all about end game, you have to rush to max level then spend months grinding to get decent gear, once you do that, a new expansion/patch comes out and you have to do it again, with each expantion they make leveling easier, so low level content is pointless, they could just start you off at max level with crap gear and let you farm instances for all the play low level content gets... they have a huge world, but most players see less then 10% of it. WoW has alot of serious issues that endup driving people away. the community....and im being kind.....sucks, and blizzard foster the way they act. blizzard have a game designed so that 1/2 the player base is always hating/fighting with the other 1/2, going to great lengths to foster this bs, its not healthy and its part of what drove alot of people I know out of the game. their latest expantion is PANDAS+Pokemon.....Pandokemon as the joke goes..... I know no less then 15 people who quit WoW after reading up on or trying the panda's beta.......the funny part is that most of them picked up GW2 and cant stop talking about how different it feels actually being happy to see other players in an area. WoW: you see other non-party players and start cursing(or grummbling) because if they tag a mob, you cant get credit for killing it, in gw2, anybody whos helped kill something gets a reward/credit.....it fosters teamwork and community rather then the mentality that WoW and most other mmo's have. Just thought I should point out part of why WoW has been bleeding players and why its not as popular as it ever was..... at its peek WoW had around 800k concurrent players(people online at any given time), GW2 had over 400k concurrent users during pre-release headstart days...... gw2 has its flaws, but, at least its not designed to foster hate and contempt of other players......and they dont let the community make a bunch of arses of themselves.

Im just wondering how long till SW:TOR goes free to play...the way everybody I know whos played it quit with the same comments about how its to much like WoW(these are people who played WoW for years and years) I think EA would have been better off letting bioware do their own thing rather then forcing them to clone the WoW system.....bioware pre EA was much better then Post EA.... an example of that is ME3 vs ME2 vs ME1 ME1 was more complex and for me more fun, weapon mods you could stack and combine for different effects where total win.... but to many consolers couldnt deal with the idea of not stacking the highest damage mods on a weapon to avoid critical perm overheat....(trust me, there are archived posts about this by the thousands out there) ME2 removed weapon mods in favor of a much more dumbed down system of "Research" to avoid people not reading and complaining their shotgun critically overheated after 1 shot and never cooled down....... ME3........EA pushed them to get it out to quick and forced them to pick 1 story of something like 5 they had, it was a mess....look how the community reacted..... blah.......its pretty bad when people are still saying galaxies was better then SW:TOR...considering how much its said Galaxies sucked after the updates sony slapped on it..... I do hope for the sake of the players that EA decides to keep supporting the game as the player count drops tho..... I just wish CFX gained me more then 7% in gw2... :P but, again we can be thankful that we arent on nvidia where you get negative scaling on gw2.....

So mutch hate towards wow hehe , 480h on Gw2 and now iam working my way to 90 on Pandas, is its a old game but its hell of lot of fun m8 relax and enjoy both games are awsome .

except they ban people in gw2 for using ingame function to make profit. :stewpid: your numbers for wow/gw2, where did you pull this out from? swtor also had good numbers at start, look how fast it died. gw2 is following the same steps, wow maybe losing players, but the actual player base is massive. anyway solid cap driver, helps fix some of the glitches i saw here and there in wow. just hoping moh warfare will run smooth too when its out, cant wait to get my hands on that

With all the AMD lay offs recently they probably reduced the driver dev crew, or refocused on another area, I'd say that's why we haven't seen new profs in quite some time. Or maybe new cards coming out shortly...
